l. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has installed a placard, 12 inches by 14

inches in size, in the public area of the lobby of each of its 21 Area stations as required

by Judge Green's November 21,2012 Order. Additionally, the LAPD has installed

placards at its Police Administration Building (Headquarters), its West Traffic Division

and its Valley Traffic Division. All of the placards were installed by January 2,2013.

Weapon (CCW) applications and the LAPD CCW policy are available at the LAPD

3 I, DEBRA L. GONZALES, declare as follows:

4 l. I ain employed as an Assistant City Attorney with the Los Angeles City Attorney's

5 Office. I have personal knowledge of all the facts set forth herein and if called upon to testify, I

6 could and would do so competently. As to those matters of which I am informed and believe, I

7 believe them to be true and accurate.

8 2. I am the attorney representing the Defendants in Anthony Mario Assenza, et al. v. City

9 of Los Angeles, et al., Case No. BC 115813 (hereinafter Assenza).

10 3. I am informed and believe that the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has

11 installed 8 placard, 12 inches by 14 inches in si:0e, in the public area of the lobby of the LAPD

12 Headquarters, each of its 21 Area stations, the West Traffic Division, and the Valley Traffic

13 Division. I am informed and believe that all of the placards were installed by January 2,2013. The

14 placards state that Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) applications and the LAPD CCW policy are

15 available at the LAPD website or by contacting the LAPD Gun Unit. The placard also provides the

16 Gun Unit's address and telephone number. A true and correct copy of the text on the placards is
