The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board

invites interested Catholic School Supporters to provide input on its Budget priorities for the coming school year. A stakeholder survey has been posted on the Board’s website at www.wecdsb.on.ca. School community stakeholders are encouraged to provide comments on Budget priorities using the survey provided on the website. Survey responses received by Friday, March 5, 2021 will be summarized and presented to the Board at its meeting of March 30. Surveys received subsequent to March 5, 2021 may be considered in the final draft Budget which is expected to be tabled with the Board of Trustees at its meeting on June 8, 2021 with final deliberation and approval June 15, 2021.

News from Brescia University College Brescia is still accepting applications to all programs that start in September 2021. Masses celebrated during Lockdown During the time our church was closed, Father Mukucha continued privately to celebrate mass, at his home, on a daily basis. Sunday Masses were offered for the Intentions of our Parishioners as they have been in the past and continue to be. For weekday masses one intention for each mass was taken from our Book of Intentions, where a mass had not yet been celebrated. Below you will find a list of the names of our dearly departed for which mass was offered for the repose of their souls as well as some special intention masses.

as God’s beloved Son. In our Scriptures today, Jesus is revealed as God’s beloved Son, and Paul writes that the risen Jesus will indeed intercede for us. What gifts we are given! Let us, then, act in the world as God’s children and be his instruments for building the Kingdom on earth.

Salt+Light TV has produced Yes, Lord, a children’s liturgy that began airing Friday Feb. 19. Yes, Lord is a liturgy of the word designed for kids. It is broadcasting on weekends throughout Lent on

Salt + Light TV, its website (slmedia.org) and the Salt and Light Media YouTube channel.

Animated characters and the words of readings and songs scrolling across the screen make it easy for kids to follow along, sing along and practice their reading. The first reading and Gospel each week are taken from the Sunday Mass, so that kids are praying along with the whole Church. But by making it a liturgy of the word, the 20-minute show is free to tailor its prayers and activities to the target audience of five- to 10-year-olds.

Until further notice the Parish office is closed to the public.

You can still call for information, drop off mail in our secure mail slot at the office door and

schedule masses over the phone.
