Carlos Cheng - Summary of experience

Dear hiring manager, My enterprise technology experience started at Ernst & Young LLP in 1998…well over 15 years ago. They did not have centralized storage nor did they have centralized backups but they did have a tried and true datacenter. When EY decided to enter the centralized backup software arena (Computer Associate’s ArcServe versus Veritas Netbackup), I helped POC and evaluate their options based on feature, price and performance. When they decided to centralize their storage, I also helped POC, implement and support their decision/solution. I say “I” here; naturally, because, there was only myself and one other colleague. We started the storage/backup/recovery team. Below are the project initiatives our EY team has deployed over the last 15 years at the United States, Germany and Singapore datacenters. We were intimately engaged in the design, architecture, RFP, requirements review, proposal reviews, negotiation, POCs, deployments, migration and support of all of the following technologies…not at the same time, of course. Dear hiring manager,

My enterprise technology experience started at Ernst & Young LLP in 1998…well over 15 years ago.
