What is MLS

❖ MLS is a professional soccer league which is mostly played in the USA and few teams are in Canada.

❖ MLS soccer players plays in average 32 games per year.

Type of training required

❖ To play in the pro you have to go in the Académie or be selected by the recruter of a team.

Length of training required MLS soccer trains mostly every day, some teams rests for a day or two, some teams go train to the gym.When they train playing soccer they play up to 3 to 8 hours.

Cost of training $$$

The cost of training depends on the team, as example, the Montreal Impact costs about 50$ to enter the Académie

Place of training

MLS teams trains on mostly any soccer fields they can and those who are the closest to them.Example the Impact will not go train in the USA they will go to the nearest stadium.Also they do some kind of yoga and trains in gyms.

❖ The availability of jobs in this discipline is very weak because there is thousands of people who would like to do this job.Also the chances are weak because there is about 30 players in a team and 20 teams in the league. So this is very few places

❖ The chances that you lose your job is very high because when you play a sport maybe you won't satisfy your coach or the league bosses and you could get suspended. Also you could lose your job because you are injured and can't play any more.

❖ Poeple who works in MLS are mostly satisfied of their job because they have a great salary and have fun every day by playing there favourite sport every day.

❖ In the MLS there is a professional organization with the referees.They calculate all the stats and the games they play.

❖ The MLS soccer players win money and generous players give money to the poor and some foundation to sick people
