INTRODUCTIONINTRODUCTION• UTHM Career Center is located on the ground floor of Student Affairs
building.• The main function of this center is to provide career-related
information to students and help them to go through working life as trained human resources in any part of the world.
• Career Center also serves as coordinator of finishing school program which includes career skills development and employment opportunities by focusing on basic exercises such as resume preparation, image consulting and guidance to face interviews.
• Despite that, this center contribute as a coordinator for approved program implemented by the faculty to ensure the program is comprehensive and focused in their academic program.
• Career Center also acts as a coordinator in implementing student career visits to industries and government institutions in and outside the country through the Student Career Mobility Program.
FUNCTIONSFUNCTIONS
Provide guidance and career development talks.
Synchronize community engagement program for all faculties.
Conduct several career support programs to produce competitive students to adequate industries demand.
Regulating career mobility program for students inside (inbound) and outside (outbound) the country.
Organize finishing school program in all faculties.
Organized platform for registration with relevant professional bodies or institutions.
Analyzing the career patterns and development needed in Malaysia and internationally.
Managing budgets for all finishing school program in all faculties.

The Career Center strives to provide students with a wide range of services for successful internship and job search through career exploration, career networking that connects students and industries through their alumni for the following reasons:
