Inauguration of Career Counseling and Placement Cell
The Career Counseling and Placement Cell was inaugurated by Dr. Keshav Walke, Director of
NSS, RTMN University Nagpur and was presided over by Dr. Ramdas Atram , Director,
Institute of Science Nagpur. The team for 2018-19 of Career Counseling and Placement Cell
was installed during the ceremony. Mr. Rahul Bendre , President CCPC, introduced all office
bearers of Career Counseling and Placement Cell. He also narrated previous year report and
achievements of CCPC. Dr. Keshav Walke, chief guest of ceremony addressed students and
guided them about their personality development and appealed students to showcase their talent
in various events. On the same day NARAYAN IAS Academy conducted aptitude test for the
students and three top scored students were selected for free UPSC Exam couching.
PRAYAS - TWO DAYS INTER-COLLEGIATE WORKSHOP (15TH& 16th of February 2019)
ON
SOFT SKILLS AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
PRAYAS, a two days inter-collegiate workshop was organized on 15TH and 16th February, 2019
on SOFT SKILLS AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT, by Career Counseling and
Placement Cell in association with Dept. of Library (Knowledge Resource Centre). A series of
lectures of vibrant speakers was organized over the span of two days. The two days’ workshop
was inaugurated by Dr. Sapna Sharma; she delivered talk on life and career setting.
The first day had a series of four inspiring lectures. A guest speaker Mr. Sandeep Singh
elaborated with example the importance of communication skills in career building. In next
session Dr. Ram Wagh from Aakar Foundation gave importance of Career in civil services. He
also suggested the different methods for solving papers of competitive exams. The third talk was
given by Flt Lt. Shiwali Deshpande (Retd.), she inspired the students and motivated them for
joining arm forces. The fourth and last session of the first day, the renowned speaker Dr. Sumant
Tekade who took the audience by storm, he motivated students by his speech on Rancho of 3
Idiots, explaining importance of truthful hard work and imbibing knowledge.
The second day had a little surprise as an interactive session was announced. Five teams
comprising of six students were made from a lucky draw at the end of first day. An interactive
session of Group Discussion was conducted by Shri. Panini Telang, Director, Rajendra Singh
Science Exploratory. Miss. Janvi Vyas received a highly positive response. This interactive
session was followed by a career guidance session by Shri. Panini Telang, who guided the
students about the opportunity in Basic Sciences. The two days workshop was concluded with
grand valedictory function. Dr. Smita Dabolkar Singh was chief guest of the function; she
inspired students by her motivating speech on emotional intelligence. Dr. Ramdas Atram
presided over the function. Followed by the program, HCL –Company took aptitude test as a part
of campus drive.
