Dear Families, I cannot believe that we are preparing for the term break already. This term has been extremely busy with students completing 2 successful blocks of learning, Athletics Carnivals and many other activities but it is still a joy to walk in and see smiling faces and hear happy voices every day. This term has also had its challenges with the cold and virus season, colder weather and even patches of rain. All in all though, Term 3 has been spectacular with fantastic improvements in learning from so many students. During this holiday period I am aware of a number of families who will be travelling, both locally and further away. Please take care over this holiday period no matter where you are and look out for each other. This week we say ‘See you later’ to 2 of our staff members, Tess will trial working with The Smith Family and Narelle will no longer be working in Room 6. We wish both of these lovely ladies all the best and please know that you will always be welcome in our school, for a cuppa or a chat. We thank you for everything you have done for us and wish you all the best with your future employment. Please remember that Day Light Savings begins on Sunday 6th October and clocks need to be brought forward 1 hour. This always makes for interesting return to school in Week 1 so plan ahead! Have a wonderful and safe holiday, Kind Regards, Anna Duncan

Divisional Athletics On Wednesday 18th Sept 17 of our students represented Eagle Point Primary School and the Bairnsdale Tambo network at the Divisional Athletics Carnival. All of our students competed well on the day and demonstrated wonderful sportsmanship and great technique. 2 of our students Harley Ryan and Hannah Svetey won their events and achieved second in others and therefore have been invited to compete at the Regional Athletics. Congratulations to all students who competed at this event and good luck to Harley and Hannah.
Comic Strip Jack Strong and Cooper Claridge from Room 5 have been working hard on a comic strip for everyone at Eagle Point Primary to enjoy.
