We at Cardinal Center would like to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome, to join us for the 15th Annual Cardinal Classic and 14th Annual Buckeye Open. We are looking forward to bringing the shooting season to an excit-ing end, to close out our 15th Year Celebration. Vendor Building 3 is filling up with new vendors, and we continue to add new sponsors to our shoots each year. Please join us in welcoming the new vendors and sponsors, as well as continuing to patronize the long standing vendors who continue to support the Cardinal Center!
We have added a new event to the lineup this year in the Scholastic Clay Target Program’s International Nationals. We are building 6 new skeet fields to add to the 14 we already have and already completed construc-tion on 4 new International Bunkers.
We hope that you enjoy these additions and improvements, so your time spent here at the Cardinal Shooting Center will be the best yet. Here’s to another great season – and best of luck on your shooting!!!

SHOOTER’S RESPONSIBILITYENTRY AND SHOOTING PROCEDURE
(1) Take your average card to the classification desk. Do not attempt to make your program entries before doing so.
(2) BE SURE YOUR AVERAGE CARD IS UP-TO-DATE. Be sure you check your ticket and see that your class and handicap yardage are correct prior to leaving the classification desk. It is your responsibility to know the rules. You are subject to penalties for shooting in the wrong classification or at the wrong yardage even if your card is so marked. It is the responsibility of category shooters to see that they are so marked at the time they are classified/handicapped.
(3) Pre-squadding services are being offered, go to www.rjstuart.com for online pre-squadding.
(4) Please be sure to have your ATA plastic card when you are at the entry windows. You will not be able to enter any events without your plastic card.
(5) If you draw squad positions that will not be used for an event, please see squadding personnel or use the self-service terminals to release your position. Releasing your position allows us to fill holes in open squads, making this tournament more enjoyable for all shooters. A shooter may not draw more than one (1) position per event.
(6) You will directly input your entries, including options, at the cashier windows using a touch screen system. Upon paying your entry fees, you will be supplied with a receipt showing your squad, and position, along with your class / yardage, options and applicable categories for each event entered. Once you leave the cashier window your entry cannot be changed for options or squadding.
(7) Squadding will be restricted to a maximum of 2 yards on a squad.(8) The cashier will accept no counter checks or secondary party checks and the
only type of cash or check accepted will be U.S. funds. Checks will be accepted for the amount of shooting fees only - No Exceptions.
(9) All entries are final. No additions or withdrawals permitted on purses and options. NO ENTRIES REFUNDED UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELLED.
(10) Shooters must be cashiered before shooting an event. Any shooter that shoots an event before cashiering for that event shall be disqualified from that event and shall owe Cardinal Center for the cost of the targets shot at.

RULES AND REGULATIONS(1) Should you win or tie for high in a class in any 16 yard or doubles event or earn
yardage in any handicap event, it shall be your responsibility to report to the handicap desk and have your yardage increased or classification reviewed. Any Shooter having won or tied their class starting with the class singles (EV 10) and class doubles (EV 12) will automatically be moved up a class. Shooters whose class or yardage is changed for any reason shall be considered to be notified when the new class or yardage is posted on the bulletin board.
(2) Any shooter failing to carry out rule 1 above, or who shoots in an incorrect class or from a yardage higher or lower than that assigned by the handicap committee, will be subject to disqualification and will not be eligible to share in any money division or be eligible for trophies.
(3) All Category Shooters must declare their special category at the time of classification in any registered tournament if they wish to compete as a category shooter. Without such declaration, the contestant will not be allowed to compete for the applicable category trophy for the duration of the tournament. No contestant will be allowed to declare or change a special declaration after firing his/her first shot. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Failure to declare your classification does not constitute an ATA classification error. Please check your classification receipt before leaving the classification window.
(4) Each shooter who is entitled to receive money won during any event agrees that if such money is not received by him during the period of this tournament, a check in payment for the money won may be mailed to him at the address indicated by ATA records, and when so mailed, the club will not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any check lost, stolen, unclaimed or otherwise not received or not cashed by the shooter. Additionally, each shooter acknowledges that IRS regulations require 1099 reporting on winnings totaling $600 or more for each calendar year, and that a Social Security number is required before event winnings checks can be distributed or mailed. Please note, all options checks are void if not cashed within 90 days, as stated on checks.
(5) Management will not be responsible for errors in scores after the options have been posted. Shooters should use the electronic bulletin board and the score board to check their scores and notify shoot management immediately if a discrepancy is noticed. SCORES BECOME FINAL 1 HOUR AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT.
(6) Shooters’ yardage will be ATA assigned yardage. New shooters without an established average for 16 yard targets and doubles targets shall be placed in class B or higher at the discretion of the classification committee.
(7) In an effort to avoid unused positions, it is imperative that you either cashier or release all positions that you have squadded for prior to the event. Anyone that does not cashier or release positions that have been squadded in their name will risk having any or all subsequent squadded positions in their name released by management. You may call the office at 419-253-0035 if you cannot make it to the club in time and have your position released.
8
CATEGORY SHOOTERS(1) At all tournaments where All American points will be awarded in any event,
shooters may declare only one category Note: Chair shooters may declare chair and only one other category.
(2) Any shooter who is tied for event Champion may shoot off/carry-over for the Championship trophy. If a shooter fails in the championship trophy shoot-off/ carry-over and has declared a special category at the time of classification, the shooter can fall back to the declared category only.
(3) Any shooter who has declared a special category at the time of classification and whose score qualifies for any trophy in his/her declared category, will com-pete for the category trophy and not for place, class or yardage group.
(4) Any special category shooter, whose score does not qualify for a trophy in his/ her category, may compete for place, class or yardage group trophies. Once any declarations have been made either by a shooter or shoot management, the dec-laration is final and cannot be changed. There shall be no exception to this rule.
