4 Card Images
4.1 Introduction
Not personalized (or not activated): This means that a particular CCD function (optional or not) must be not personalized for the purpose of a specific test. For example the CCD Application supports the DDA function (INTERNAL AUTHENTICATE command), but this function must not be personalized (no keys) or not activated (if the OS has function activation capabilities).
When a card image has a variable value defined, such as N, the value is specific only to that card image.
4.2 Card Images A1
This the default Card Image used to perform the CCD level 2 test Cases: All data of the CCD application loaded in this Card Image must be consistent. Data described could either be a mandatory setting or up to the CCD application provider (in this case, a recommended setting is proposed). Some data are related to card options and: If the card option is supported, when it shall be fully and correctly personalized in the Card Image A1. All applications listed in the ICS shall be activated and personalized on card image A1. If there is any limitation that precludes this, a card image A1 shall be provided for each of the additional configurations described in section A.7 of the ICS

Annex A Example of a CPA simple CCD-compliant
profile
This section describes the example of a CPA card personalized as simple-CCD profile according to the Common Payment Application Specification, version 1.0 – December 2005, Annex H11 Example of a simple CCD-Complaint Profile. We list here the corresponding ICS, the set of Card Images and the associated quantities that an application provider needs to deliver to the accredited laboratories for testing.
A.1 ICS of a CPA simple-CCD compliant profile Below is the ICS (Implementation Conformance Statement) filled according to CPA specification and its Annex H11. As this apendix does not describes all options, in this ICS we have made some choices, which may differ from a CPA simple CCD-compliant profile to another one. These options are marked in red in the ICS.
