Onsite survey and reporting completed by a specialist energy consultant appointed by the Carbon Trust

Low Carbon Building Design Advice
40% of energy use is in buildings Buildings we design now will be around til
2050 (IPCC target is -60% by 2050 in order to stabilise CO2 in the atmosphere)
New buildings are a “not to be missed” opportunity
Recent experience shows that public sector buildings can reduce carbon emissions by up to 2/3 by careful attention especially at design stage for minimal increased cost.

HE– Salix withdraws its initial investment over
