CAR WASH FOR THE FALLEN 19 On Sunday July 7th Cub Scout Pack 241 teamed up with the VFW Post 720 in order to hold a Car Wash Fundraiser for the families of the Fallen 19. TAP and Sons Electric donated snacks and drinks to help out for additional donations. The AZ 4X4 Club stopped by to have their 4X4 washed. They made a really nice donation. There were also several items donated to be raffled. Raised $1,600.00 The units worked 5 hours from 8:00am – 1:00pm. The money will go to Wildland Fire Fighter Foundation A job well done by Packs 241, 10, 478, 244, 241 and Troop 41. A Special thanks for everyones help. The boys can be very proud of themselves for doing a Good Deed for the day for such a worthy cause. Not only did they wash a great number of cars, trucks and SUV's, but they also found time to even wash a sweet looking dog. Troy Laky did a really great job pulling this together after one of the boys in the Pack asked, "Can we do a car wash for the fallen 19"? After 62 hours and many phone calls I'm proud to say it really happened and what a response they got. Great job Troy!
