Utilizing special measurement techniques and equipment to capture and analyze the ideal balance for cabin and tailpipe exhaust sound, we find a perfect harmony for that unique Akrapovič sound. Our engineers produce “sound color maps”—a signature of the exhaust system—and from these results and real-time on-road testing in all gears throughout the rev range, the optimum acoustic elements are calculated for the perfect sound experience. This way you always know that it is an Akrapovič, with just the right notes at the right time, which will give you that unmistakable sound.

The best sound, where you want it, when you want it.The Akrapovič Sound Kit enables the driver to switch between regular and sporty mode while driving, and take an active role in creating an extraordinary sound experience. More weight savings and sound improvements are achieved with Akrapovič Evolution systems. The Evolution systems replace the stock exhaust system from the manifolds / catalytic convertors back. The Evolution line includes the Slip-On mufflers with the addition of a lighter link pipe. The stainless steel Evolution system saves 6 kg compared to the stock exhaust system. The Evolution performance exhausts transform the car from being mild mannered into a true GT1 racer with a deep tone and aggressive sound. Complete the look with a set of exquisite 115 mm or larger 125 mm tailpipes in either titanium or carbon fibre. Select the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit for adjustable sound.

Evolution LineME-CO/SS/1 (Stainless Steel) CARB


The stainless steel Slip-On systems replace the stock exhaust back of the center link pipes. The difference between the Akrapovič Slip-On mufflers is the weight. Stainless steel mufflers save almost 4 kg compared to stock. Akrapovič Slip-On systems increase the power and torque of the V8 engine. At the same time, the throttle response is also better, all achieved without removing the catalytic converters. The most dramatic improvement is in the sound. The Slip-On performance exhaust makes the Corvette sound deeper. We also offer an optional Akrapovič Sound Kit that allows full control of the dual-mode valves. Complete the look with a set of exquisite 115 mm or larger 125 mm tailpipes in either titanium or carbon fibre.

The Akrapovič Evolution Line system takes exhaust tuning to the next level. Featuring mufflers and link-pipes made from high-grade titanium to dramatically reduce the overall weight, the system provides more power, lowers back pressure, enhances throttle response, and increases torque. With four valves, the first pair operates in four-cylinder mode and the second set comes into action following the driver’s specifications. With an electronic device developed by Akrapovič engineers for the five standard GM modes—Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport, and Track—the system is perfectly matched to operate with the car’s drive mode selector. This produces an even greater range of options for the driver to fully experience the amazing sound of the car. The Evolution Line system, with a new X-pipe, provides even greater performance compared to the Slip-On Line system. Four large-diameter carbon fibre tailpipes with titanium inners complete the appearance of the Evolution Line perfectly, making it stand out as something special.

The Akrapovič Slip-On Line system is the first step in exhaust tuning. Crafted from high-grade titanium, which considerably reduces the weight in comparison to the stock system, it has been perfectly designed to fit directly onto the existing link pipes. The Slip-On Line system has four valves, designed for the first pair to operate in four-cylinder mode and the second set to come into action according to the driver’s specifications. The system is developed to be compatible with the car’s drive mode selector, and Akrapovič engineers have developed an electronic device to drive the exhaust valves for each mode—Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport, and Track—giving the driver an even greater opportunity to enjoy the sound of the Akrapovič Slip-On Line across the whole spectrum of the car’s performance. It is topped off by four large-diameter carbon fibre tailpipes with titanium inners, to make the Slip-On clearly recognizable as an exhaust that means business.
