DAY 1 I OCT 18 I BOGOTA Assistance at the airport by one of ourrepresentatives and transfer to the hotel. Arrival at the hotel andovernight. DAY 2 I OCT 19 I BOGOTA Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, departfor a tour of the savanna of Bogota until you reach the city of Zipaquirá,whose name means ‘City of our Father’ in the Chibcha language. In pre-Columbian times, saline springs were exploited in this region to produce‘salt loaves’, a strong currency with which the Muiscas traded. Over time,the technology changed and began to open holes to extract greateramounts of salt. In those old underground galleries, you will see the SaltCathedral of Zipaquirá, 180 meters below the surface. There is a smallchapel of the miners in homage to the Virgin, Our Lady of the Rosary ofGuasá (this word means ‘mine’ in Chibcha). At the end of the visit, returnto Bogota. Transfer to hotel for overnight. (B)DAY 3 I OCT 20 I BOGOTA Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, departfor a tour to the historic center of Bogota, where buildings such as theNational Captiol, the Casa de Narino, and the Church Museum of SantaClara are found. You will enter the Gold Museum, where there are about34,000 pieces of gold from various pre-Hispanic cultures, and then goto the Quinta de Bolívar House Museum, where the Liberator SimónBolívar lived. The route continues from 2,600 meters above sea level ofthe city until 3,152 to which is the sanctuary where the image of theFallen Lord of Monserrate is venerated. From there you can see the bestpanoramic view of Bogotá. Rest of the day is free. Transfer to hotel forovernight. (B)DAY 4 I OCT 21 I BOGOTA I CARTAGENA Breakfast at the hotel.Assistance at the hotel by one of our representatives and transfer to ElDorado airport. Flight from Bogota to Cartagena is included. Arrival inCartagena and assistance at the airport by one of our representatives.Accompaniment and assistance are included. Transfer to the hotel. Restof the day is free and overnight. (B)DAY 5 I OCT 22 I CARTAGENA Breakfast at the hotel. After lunch, westart a panoramic tour of Cartagena de Indias. During the circuit you willpass through the modern area of Bocagrande and the neighborhood ofManga, where old mansions from the early twentieth century are seen.Then you will visit the Castle of San Felipe de Barajas, with which theSpaniards sought to defend themselves against English attacks in the17th century. We continue with a short walk through the historic centerof this beautiful city for a visit to the San Pedro Claver Church. The tour

ends with a visit to the Emerald Museum. After the tour, we willparticipate in a coffee tasting. You will learn how coffee is rated andexperience first-hand the flavor of Colombia. Transfer to hotel forovernight. (B)DAY 6 I OCT 23 I CARTAGENA Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, wewill depart for the Bodeguita Pier where we will take speedboats to theHotel Isla del Encanto, located in the Corales del Rosario Natural Park,offering a new and comprehensive concept of services, with innovativerest areas for total well-being. All passengers can use the external areasof the hotel and enjoy the delicious lunch that will be served. Transferback to the hotel for overnight.
