Reissued as Early in the Morning – a title that remained as long as the album was in print. Capitol had released their single as “Down by the Station” (Capitol 4312), and although the Four Preps were performing a cover version of that song with new lyrics, all later copies of the song and album appear as “Early in the Morning” – including the song’s title on their greatest hits collection from 1967 (Capitol ST-2708). Based on the mono slogan at the bottom of the back cover, the title change came either later after June in 1960, or in 1961.

Label 60 In September, 1959, Capitol replaced the words that ran from bottom to top across the label (“LONG PLAYING HIGH FIDELITY”) with spires leading from the Capitol dome logo to the top and bottom of the label. This label style lasted through the end of 1961.
