Ten Points to Remember

Vehicle must be inspected for items 1 through 20 at least once per calendar month.

Signature, CAPID and date at bottom of form page 1 verify the required monthly tire pressure check. It is highly recommended to check tire pressure and condition beginning of every day of use for safety and economy.

Page 10: CAPF 73 CAP VEHICLE INSPECTION GUIDE AND USAGE DATA INSTRUCTIONS.

Ten Points to Remember

Verification for daily inspection items 1 through 19 requires signature and CAPID for correct day on inside page prior to vehicle use.

Once vehicle has been inspected for the day, it is still recommended subsequent operators inspect vehicle. If do inspect, no place for second signature, CAPID, and date but can place with a note in “Additional Comments “.

Ten Points to Remember

If no space remains in “Additional Comments” section, place the word “continued” at the bottom. Utilize available space in “Discrepancy Report”. Begin entry with “Additional Comments”, then proceed.

All signatures require a CAPID along with date.

Times the vehicle used for each and every purpose should follow one another in the respective column. It is the time(s) used, NOT THE DATE, you are recording.
