New Course ICS 20 Computer Information Science

Introduction to Computer Studies (ICS2O)Students will use an innovative 3D

programming environment to create animations and interactive video games.

Students will learn/explore:

• fundamental computer programming concepts

• how to build/upgrade computers

• the future of computing technology

• the ever-growing world of video games

This is a highly creative and formative course for those students who may be interested in studying Computer Science in Grade 11 (ICS3U) and Grade 12 (ICS4U). Please see Mr. Miller if you have any questions.

•Students in the Arts Canterbury program should enter the 2 course codes provided by your Arts Teacher. Arts Canterbury courses held outside of the school day must be registered through the Department Head. (portfolio, company, Music)

•Remember: course selections can NOT be changed once you have submitted your selections.
