Polar Patterns Considerations

The ratio of the internal electronic time delay and the

external time delay.

What determines the Polar Pattern of a Directional

System ?

Importance of Placement Key

Page 15: Canta ITE’s

Microphone Orientation Marking

During impression taking a microphone placement key must be used in order to indicate the correct orientation of the microphones.

•Instruct the client to look straight ahead at a point at eye level. •Place the placement key at a horizontal position.

Parallel Microphone Manufacture 1

Make a marking on the investment according to marks from placement key

Transport this marks to the shell

Parallel Microphone Manufacture 2

• Place the shell on the faceplate

• Align marks on shell with guidelines on faceplate

• Scratch a line around the shell

Guidelines

Scratched line

• Erase marks on shell

• Mount shell after scratched line

• Danalogic use matched microphones

• Digital 5000 match once with FONIX

• Canta is matched with FONIX and keeps the matching updated all the time.

When changing microphone(s) or hybrid remember to match with

FONIX

Mounting Telecoil - loop systems

• Turn on the instrument

• Listen to the instrument in Telecoil position

• Move the coil until noise from radiation is at minimum

• Observe that the coil is within scratched scratched line and in a vertical position

• Glue the coil in position
