Dear Brothers and Sisters, As we continue to practice safe protocols during this difficult time, we continue to proceed ahead where appropriate to benefit our Elks cause and our Elk members. While the Lodge is still Closed, we will begin making Drive-Thru pickup service available to our members and guests. Look for the flyers and updates for coming activities and events. Thank you to our volunteers and participants for making our Mother’s Day and Memorial Day Drive-Thru events successful. Also, I would like to thank our members for the charitable donations that continue coming into the Lodge this past month. If you are able, please help in any way you can, every amount helps.

I know many of you are ready and waiting to return to the Lodge, we will continue to keep you posted with any changes to the status as it develops. Until then, please help support our Lodge by participating in our Drive-Thru service if you are able. Stay Safe, Fraternally Yours, Jeff Mackie

Exalted Ruler

Jeff Mackie

I would like to thank everyone who has been so generous over the past couple of months. The Covid-19 Virus has put our Lodge in a very difficult position. We have generated some income with the drive-through meals and your donations but we still need your support. If you are able I ask each member to please donate $25.00 per month to the Lodge. Thanks again for all of your support! Randy Lewis, Trustees Chairman

Dear Brothers and Sisters: I hope everyone is well during this pandemic. I would like to thank all Elk members, Emblems and guests who came out and supported 2190 lodge on Memorial Day. We had a spectacular turn out. It was great seeing many of you. Also, a special thank you to Elks and Emblems who volunteered their time and skills to make Memorial Day a success. I am looking forward to seeing all of you when the Lodge reopens, and we resume our wonderful lodge activities. If anyone should need any assistance, please feel free to reach out. Remember our motto "Elks care, Elks share".

Fraternally Yours, Marina Mackie

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

I was really hoping we’d be back in the Lodge by now, but it seems we’ll have to be patient for a little bit longer. We recently had our first “drive-through” meal service, thanks to Marina Mackie and a team of volunteers. A big thank you to everyone involved, and keep an eye open for news of more to come.

Speaking of which, we have Flag Day and Fathers Day coming up later this month - check out the flyers elsewhere in the bulleting. It often said that “a problem shared is a problem halved,” and Elks are all about sharing. So keep in touch and don’t forget that the bulletin lists the phone

numbers for each of the officers and other worthies.

Fraternally Yours, Simon Coombs

Dear Brothers and Sisters;

Although the Covid-19 virus is still with us, we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Restaurants and retail shops are starting to open, people are returning to the beaches and parks for exercise and relaxation, and houses of worship are once again allowed to hold services, albeit in reduced numbers.

Through it all, we need to hold near to us our friends and family, even if from a distance. Not only should we keep in contact with those we love and have a close relationship with, but also with our brother and sister elks who may be alone in these strange and scary times. Make a call, send a card, email them, or write them a snail mail letter.

The lodge is slowly starting to hold dinners and lunches, and we will hold events such as the Memorial Day Drive Thru, July 4th (to be determined how this will happen), and others as we receive approval and Covid-19 Federal, State and Local guidelines allow.

Stay Safe and Healthy, and let me know if you want a mask - I would be happy to provide you with one! In Elks Brotherhood,

Fraternally Yours, Cheryl Kobashigawa
