Indigo Juice is a “Made in Candiani” Dyeing Technology that we apply to 100% Indigo shades.Thanks to this technology we keep the indigo very superficial on the yarn (without worsening the crocking) when we are dyeing the warp. This means that once the jeans are going to be washed in the laundry it takes only a small amount of water and energy to wash-down the indigo achieving great contrasts and designs.

Indigo Juice dyed fabrics are studied for top performance with sustainable laundry treatments such as Laser, Ozone, Ice.

This dyeing technology allows to achieve a relevant increase in sustainability throughout all levels of the production process.

DYEING TECHNOLOGYSUSTAINABLE

N-Denim, the "N"stands for Nitrogen, is a very futuristic “Made in Candiani” Dyeing Technology that we have recently developed and patented.

Nitrogen delays the oxidation process and accelerates the penetration of Indigo into the yarns. The result is a very deep and higly fixed dye, ideal to make “no-fade” denim garments.

This system allows us to reduce the number of indigo baths and therefore save up to 33% of water and 50% of chemicals. The cut down on water and chemicals grants us a cleaner and more eco-friendly dye and proves how Candiani matches Innovation and Sustainability.

NITROGEN ACCELERATES THE PENETRATION OF INDIGO INTO THE YARNS

This in-house developed technology is the beating heart of Candiani's Premium Stretch. It consists in a special combinationof a spinning and a finishing technique that confers superior performance and a premium look and hand-feel to the fabric.

The main characteristics are:1. We spin a great elasticity performance weft containing LYCRA® DualFX2. We blend the T400 polyester and the Lycra elastomer together using a secret mixing technique and then we spin them into the cotton yarn 2. From Comfort Stretch to Power Stretch the weft can reach up to 75% elasticity3. Through a special finishing technique we achieve highest recovery and lowest growth4. Studied to make jeans that do not bag out

Based on our SLING technology the SHAPER kicks this tech up a notch enhancing the techni-cal, optical and tactile aspects of Candiani's Premium Stretch Denim.

It results from the combination between a special Spinning process and an alternative Finishing Technology and applies to 5 different levels of performance:

The main characteristics are:1. Technical improvement: 50% reduction of the weft-shrinkage allows great improvements during the garment manufacturing process.2. Optical Improvement: Allows to create open weave constructions even on super stretch fabrics keeping the twill-line pronounced for an authentic denim look.3. Tactile Improvement: an alternative Finishing process enhances the hand feel conferring a naturally soft touch to the fabric.

Super stretch fabrics can now be worn by MAN as well. This Stretch Technology applies perfectly to regular fits allowing finally Men to enjoy the comfort of a super stretch.

With SHAPER 0 we achieved an unheard-of result: Growth reduction to the very minimum.The performance ranges from 16% - 20% Elasticity and the main characteristics are true to the Shaper family:

4) Waste ManagementAt Candiani we view recycling as a key part of our product lifecycle management and are committed to the principles of Reduce, Re-use and Recycle.We believe limiting waste as much as possible is absolutely necessary to safeguard the envi-ronment. Therefore we collect and recycle our own waste of yarns from the spinning, warping and dyeing departments and create recycled yarns that confer a beautiful new look and feel to the fabrics of our recycled range.
