• Annual event, possibly joint every other year with other

Copernicus Service(s)

• GA 2016: an opportunity for the Greek communities to

be on centre stage

Structure of the 1st CAMS General Assembly

• Today: snapshot of where CAMS stands (see after)

• Tonight: event at the prestigious Academy of Athens

• Tomorrow: “user day” (what is available? Current uses

and future needs…)

• Thursday morning: 4 parallel discussion sessions

• How to make CAMS outputs more useful?

• What are the opportunities for increasing the use of obs.?

• What are the emerging research needs?

• How to expand and maximize CAMS visibility and impact?

• Thursday afternoon: report in plenary and way forward
