Chair Persons of CNA campus committees prioritize needs and recommend to SBDM Committee initiatives/strategies/activities that will meet campus needs. SBDMCommittee will approve initiatives/strategies/activities that will be placed in Campus Improvement Plan.

1. Teachers must focus on the Bilingual students since it is the majority of our population at our campus.2. Teachers need to continue to meet the needs of our bilingual students through the use of ELPS Workbook and Stratiques Strategies.3. RtI must continue to be implemented in all grade levels to provide proper early interventions.4. Teachers need to continue to receive GT research based strategies since our GT population is consistently growing.

1. Provide bilingual materials to teachers, the ELPS workbook to provide sheltered instruction to the students. Also, provide teachers with their class demographicson the first day of school. The teachers will also need additional training for Stratiques strategies to be used in the classroom. Their lesson plans and classroomobservations will include these strategies.2. Staff Development for Stratiques Strategies. Administrators will continue to do frequent walk-throughs to provide feedback to improve their lessons.3. RtI Meetings will occur twice a month to address the needs of identified students.4. Teachers will complete the required GT 6 hour update as required by the district and state.

1. Encourage positive behavior in the classroom and throughout the campus through PBIS. Weekly student winners will be selected and a ribbon will be given to theselected students. At the end of every six weeks, a raffle will be held by the weekly winners.2. A system will be in place for the locking of the doors provided by the district and staff duties will be monitored. All teachers will receive a key card to ensure thesafety of the students. All doors will be locked at all times, and the gates will be locked at all times.3. A schedule of duties will be provided, and students will be rewarded every Friday through a raffle. For the 2018-2019 school year, the first lunch will begin at 11:00A.M.4. A schedule will be given to all staff of new assignments for after school duty as students are dismissed to facilitate the flow of traffic.
