All programs spend a large portion of the day outside — please check weather reports daily and come prepared for the weather before you arrive. Upon registration you are emailed a confirmation package. This package includes information about how to prepare for camp including what to bring each day.

HoursDrop off from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Camp program runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pick up from 4 to 4:30 p.m.

extended care is available from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., $10 per day per child.

wHere to GoCamp programs are based at one of two locations — please make sure you know at which location the camp you have registered for takes place. Nature Interpretive Centre Camps are located in the Arboretum, 20A old Guelph Road, Dundas. RBG Centre Camps are at 680 Plains Road West, Burlington.

frog frenzy!Campers aged 4 to 5 at rBG Centrethis camp program explores our Frogs! exhibit each day. Frogs are incredible creatures and this program teaches you all about them. Hop like a frog, use their colours to create cool crafts, and see them up close in our exhibit. through stories and songs, learn all about wetland plants and animals — you may even see some on a hike in Hendrie Valley!

wetland wondersCampers aged 6 to 7 at rBG Centrethis camp program explores our Frogs! exhibit each day. What lives in a wetland, and why are these habitats so important? Discover the answers for yourself as we hike in Hendrie Valley, play games, build natural crafts, and read stories about the incredible world of “two-lived” animals!

Animal AdventurersCampers aged 4 to 5 at nature interpretive Centrethere’s no better way to learn about the animals of the forest than by seeing them for yourself! We read stories, make nature crafts, and learn with all five senses about the animals that live at RBG and what they do to survive. You may even encounter one face-to-face!

tree trekkersCampers aged 6 to 7 at nature interpretive Centrethe natural world is full of exciting things, and we are on an outdoor quest to find them! Join us to experience the magic of the forest and wetlands around RBG. Invent a folk story with a puppet you create, pretend to be a local forest creature, or explore a forest meadow in search of animal tracks. Come ready to learn all about the hidden world outdoors!

eco-explorersCampers aged 8 to 9 at nature interpretive Centreour beautiful Arboretum is the perfect place to learn all about the living treasures of the forest and wetlands. each day you get the chance to discover something new about the natural world, whether through exploring forests and fields, using natural plant dyes, playing games, or taking on conservation projects. What will you find on YoUR expedition?

trailblazersCampers aged 10 to 13 at nature interpretive CentreBecome a scientist, survivalist, and explorer — and then tell your tale! Learn by doing hands-on explorations of forests and fields, making observations of wildlife, and playing field games. Be inspired to create and share stories about the importance of diversity in the wilderness around you.
