TWO-STAR CAMPGROUND ««The surface area of an individual tent site must measure an average of at least 60 square metres. At least 50 percent of camping sites must have electrical connections.

THREE-STAR CAMPGROUND «««The surface area of an individual tent site must measure an average of at least 70 square metres. At least 60 percent of camping sites must have electrical connections. The campground has an Internet area and runs organised recreational activities for guests, and there is a grocery store within a one kilometre radius.

FOUR-STAR CAMPGROUND ««««The surface area of an individual tent site must measure an average of at least 80 square metres. At least 70 percent of camping sites must have electrical connections. The campground has a lounge with a colour TV, and there is a grocery store within a 500-metre radius.

FIVE-STAR CAMPGROUND «««««The surface area of an individual tent site must measure an average of at least 90 square metres. At least 80 percent of camping sites must have electrical connections. At least one half of camping sites are marked. The campground has its own restaurant and grocery store.

In accordance with Slovenian hospitality industry regulations, all campgrounds

in Slovenia must be classified into a category of one to five stars, except for tourist farms which provide the option of camping as part of a secondary offer.

The quality and the number of ameni-ties available increase with the number

of stars assigned to the campground. Regardless of the star categorisation, all

Slovenian campgrounds must form an integral whole, both in terms of area and

function, must be fenced and secured, have an entrance gate and floodlit en-

trance at night (during open season), and have an access road at least three metres wide. Every campground must have flat

and well-kept camping sites, a parking area at the entrance, safety-deposit boxes, a campfire area, and at least three metres of clearance between tents. All roads and

paths to the reception desk and wash-room facilities must be floodlit at night. If

a campground has 100+ camping sites, a campground map is mandatory.

The Adria campsite is the largest and one of the most orderly campsites on the Slovenian coast. It is located directly next to the sea in beautiful natural surround-ings: in the shade of 100-year old cedars and pine trees, anyone can find his/her space. If you would like more comfortable accommodation, there are mobile hous-es or luxurious Hobby trailers with complete camping gear at the guest's disposal.A mild climate, the flagrant Mediterranean flora and arranged footpaths attract lovers of outdoor accommodation throughout the year. It is also visited by people with breathing problems, since the campsite is located in the direct vicinity of the children's seaside climatic spa. The campsite is less than a one-hour drive away from Ljubljana and only 10 minutes from Koper or the Italian border. It repre-sents an excellent starting point for sightseeing in the Slovenian tourist sights and around Istria.The safe, shady and sheltered numerous paths and playgrounds are ideal for fami-lies with small children. Moreover, the campsite is also accessible for disabled per-sons – it is the only campsite on the coast with a lift for disabled persons in an outdoor pool. Pets are also welcome – they can avail of toilets, shower and a beach just for them.There are also four restaurants and bars with rich culinary delights right by the sea. A vast beach with piers, an Olympic and children’s pool, water sports facilities, tennis courts, a bowling area and wellness centre with heated sea water – these are only some of the recreational, entertainment and relaxation possibilities. In the winter, the campsite is open as a stop for caravans.

The Banovci spa lies in the north-eastern part of Slovenia, only 16 kilometres away from the Austrian border (border crossing Gornja Radgona/Bad Radkersburg). It is situated amidst the Mura River fields, far away from the industrial centres.The classical campsite has 130 camping spots and 50 naturist spots. It’s the first naturist campsite next to thermal water in Europe. Healing water runs to the sur-face from depths of more than 1500 metres and has an initial temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. The Ministry of Health declared it a natural healing product to be used for healing injuries and post-operation conditions after bone, joint or muscle surgery.Guests can relax in three outdoor pools with thermal water (from 34 to 38 degrees Celsius), a swimming pool with regular water, one with a slide and a children's pool with a total surface of 1920 square meters. The world of saunas, massages, baths and peelings takes care of the beauty of the body and soul.There are also several sports and recreation possibilities (cycling, tennis, table ten-nis, volleyball) and for excursions to the nearby surroundings: a visit to the bee-keeping museum, boat ride on the Mura River, kite ride above Prlekija or a visit to a mill in Veržej. The surroundings of Banovci are also famous for its top-level wines, cheeses, trotters and beautiful pottery. For a special treat, guests can enjoy the organised activity programs for every generation.

Danica campsite is located by the Sava River in Bohinjska Bistrica, not far from Lake Bohinj under the mighty Triglav mountain range. Under the shady trees along the whispering and lively green-blue river, guests can find their peace and relaxation on the 4.5 hectare camping area. The campsite has modern equipped sanitary facilities, including a modern laundry and station for campers. There is also a picnic area and free Internet access.The campsite includes the Danica Bar and Inn, which offers a wide selection of Slovenian dishes and wines. They also prepare breakfasts and lunches (Slovenian dishes) and organize picnics. In the vicinity of the campsite, there is a shopping mall, market, bakery, health centre, pharmacy, bank and post office. The campsite area is accessible for disabled persons. Guests can also play tennis, badminton, volleyball and table-tennis in the campsite or can rent mountain and electrical bicycles. The Koren campsite, the first Slovenian campsite with the Eco-camping certificate and EU daisy, is located on the left bank of the Soča River, only 500 metres away from Kobarid. It is situated between the natural pearls of the Soča Valley: Soča riverbed, waterfalls of the Kozjak stream and the famous Napoleon bridge, the restored front line of the First World War and Roman settlement of Tonocov grad. There are camping spots available on small terraces in the forest, communally-equipped parcels or in the sun. Those who prefer more comfort can find accom-modation in the ecological log cabins: wood, comfortable beds, balcony, terrace, plants and blooming surroundings provide the real luxury of accommodation.Campsite guests have numerous possibilities for activities connected to hills, sky or water. One can bathe in the warm Nadiža River, while the Soča River is best used for rafting, kayaking or fishing. The Soča Valley can also be overflown with paragliding or hang-gliding, while the most persistent outdoorsmen cycle through it. The Lendava spa is located at the foot of Lendavske gorice, at the tripoint of Hun-gary, Croatia and Slovenia. Its 8-pooled water world offers guests, besides the me-dicinal effects of the unique paraffin water, beneficial relaxation and an interesting water experience.Near the Lipa Hotel is a camping area; the majority of parcels are located on grass, while some are also on asphalt. There are 80 spots available to guests in caravans, trailers and tents. In the direct vicinity of the campsite is a thermal water pool (36 to 38 degrees Celsius), Olympic swimming pool with slides, children’s pool with regular heated water (27 degrees Celsius) and bar with a summer terrace. All campsite guests can freely use the bathing services and animation offer of the Lendava Spa. The campsite is open throughout the year, while the ‘Grozd’ natural pool provides nude swimming from September to May.The campsite facilities include basketball, soccer, tennis and beach volleyball courts, while the surroundings include well-marked cycling trails – bicycles can also be rented. The campsite is an excellent starting point for hiking around the surroundings and seeing the cultural-historic sights. Lendavske gorice, which con-tains a wine road, boasts numerous wineries where excellent wine and homemade food is offered.

Ljubljana Resort is the largest tourist complex in Ljubljana; it is located in the northern outskirts of the capital in the shade of high trees along the Sava River. The Šobec campsite near Lesce in Gorenjska spreads out in the pleasant shade of a pine tree forest between the Sava Dolinka River and a small lake with an island. The presence of water and trees, sights of the Karavanke peaks and beautiful grassy spots provide unique character.The landscape beauty of the campsite is only supplemented by the wide selection of facilities and services for comfortable accommodation in nature: Šobec offers 400 arranged camping spots with electricity installations on 15 hectares, three modern sanitary facilities, 12 washing facilities, restaurant, bar, shop and venue for a rich daily activity program during the main season.The wooded bungalows are the pride of the Šobec campsite. They’re built in the Alpine style and offer the highest level of accommodation. Guests can use the na-ture bathing area with water playing equipment and several children's and sports areas (basketball, soccer, mini golf, beach volleyball, etc.). The Šmica autocamp is located along the main road Luče-Solčava. It lies on a par-tially grassy and wooded surface on the bank of the unspoilt Savinja River. The beautiful Logarska Valley at the height of 500 metres is only a few steps away. It is an ideal starting point for hiking and water sports.If you would like to spend a night in the campsite and do not have your own tent, you can rent a tent or use the campsite's bungalows or holiday trailers. One can also rent kayaks and rafts, while guided tours along the Savinja River are organised from May to October; moreover, one can fish and bathe in the river during the summer. It is mandatory to see its spring, the 100-meter high Rinka waterfall in the Logarska Valley. This natural pearl offers, on top of its natural sights, such as Robanov kot, Matkov kot, Snežna jama, Potočka zijalka, etc., several other sports and recreational facilities – primarily hiking, mountaineering, alpinism, cycling, parachuting, riding, rafting and kayaking; tennis lovers can play a game on one of the two sandy tennis courts on the campsite.Mountain lovers will probably take a rucksack and head toward Raduha, Ojstrica, Korošica, Krofička, Brana and other peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.

Along the southern outskirts of Goričko, within the nature spa, lies the Terme 3000 campsite that, thanks to its infrastructure, accepts guests throughout the year. The camping price includes unlimited access to the Thermal Hotel bathing area (indoor and outdoor pool) and Terme 3000 adventure pool complex (11 out-door and indoor pools – swimming and children’s pools, diving pool, pool with ‘black’ thermal mineral water, eight slides (aqua loop, freefall, 170 m and 130 m slides), four saunas (Finnish and Turkish) and solarium (entry to sauna and so-larium require extra payment), self-service restaurant, summer entertainment activities for adults and children, etc. The campsite guests can also visit the well-ness centre and health services in Thermalium (massages, baths, body care) and an activity program offered by Terme 3000.The sports-recreational park offers numerous recreational possibilities (four sandy and three artificial turf tennis courts, badminton courts, soccer, basketball, vol-leyball). The Natura campsite is part of the Olimia spa in Podčetrtek. In harmony with the unspoilt nature and beneficial healing water, it is located on a flatland along the Sotla River, right beside the Aqualuna Thermal Park. It is friendly to families with children, guests who would like to indulge themselves and anyone who desires a beautiful vacation.The Aqualuna, with its numerous water attractions and entertainment activities for the entire family, attracts many guests; however, since the campers are, at the same time, guests of the Olimia spa, they can relax in the Termalija Wellness Cen-tre pools, where water is enriched with magnesium and calcium, which are indis-pensable to the correct functioning of the nerves and muscles. The body and soul can be spoilt in the Orhidelia Wellness Centre, the luxurious world of saunas and pools. In 2009, Orhidelia was ranked among 11 finalists of the 2009 World Archi-tecture Festival 2009; namely, in the Holidays category.Sports lovers can use the nearby sports park where they can play tennis or badmin-ton or try their basketball, handball and soccer skills. The Lucija campsite is situated on the green Seča peninsula. It is located in the direct vicinity of the Portorož Marine and Sečovlje Saltpans, hidden in an embrace of nature, but only a step away from Portorož. A cycle path leading toward the Sečovlje Saltpans runs through the campsite.The location is appropriate for anyone hoping to escape from the city bustle and seek hidden corners of unspoilt nature. The campsite offers diverse activities: be-sides bathing in the sea, guests can try out various water sports, cycling, Nordic walking, guided tours in the direct vicinity, etc. Moreover, there are other facili-ties as well: a beach, wireless Internet and a children's playground with a sandbox, swing and slide; the modern campsite also houses a store, bar and a restaurant that offers a wide selection of Istrian food and wine.Lovers of active holidays will appreciate the only 300-metre away sports centre with courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball, soccer and mini golf. Moreover, in the direct vicinity of the campsite there is a go-cart area, outdoor gym and a great spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The campsite in the Ptuj spa is an ideal place for anyone who likes to plan their own holidays and wish to spend time in unspoilt nature, where one can hear the whisper of the trees and the birds singing.The campsite is only a kilometre away from one of the oldest and most beautiful medieval towns, Ptuj. Along the Drava River, where healing thermal water bursts from 1100 metres with the temperature of 56 degrees Celsius, a modern spa and recreational centre has developed, including a campsite that enables stays by trail-ers and tents, rental of apartments, bungalows and camping houses. In 2012, the campsite gained a new special type of accommodation: one can sleep in large wine barrels that offer almost all the comfort of an outdoor hotel room. In accordance with the rich tradition of winemaking in Ptuj, eight large wine barrels compose a wine village surrounded by autochthonous wine sorts.The campsite price includes entry to the sauna and indoor and outdoor thermal park with a diverse and rich offer of water attractions. There are 4200 square me-ters of water surfaces and diverse services to experience (massages, various thera-pies and activity program).In the direct vicinity are tennis courts, volleyball court and golf course. The Drava and Dravinja River can be used for fishing, while one must also visit Ptuj, with its mighty castle, and the wine-growing region of Slovenske gorice.

In the heart of the Savinja Alps, surrounded by mountains up to 2,400 metres high, in a land with unspoilt nature, lies the Menina campsite, which boasts a four star rating. It is located only 20 kilometres away from the Celje-Ljubljana highway, before the famous Logarska Valley, which is ideal for all lovers of mountain and water sports.The campsite, with its pleasant domestic atmosphere, is situated in a pine-tree for-est between the Savinja River and a lake where guests can bathe and have fun on water trampolines. Bathing is also possible in the nearby pool facilities. There are 220 beautiful, large camping spots, while guests can also rent wooden cabins and mobile homes. The campsite facilities include a home food restaurant, sports park, new adventure park, children's playground areas, arranged and clean sanitary fa-cilities, caravan station, fire pits, sauna, etc. Children’s activities are also provided (outdoor games, kayaking course, water games, fishing, etc.), as well as activities for adults (wine tasting, culinary courses, polka class, etc.). Guests can also enjoy rafting, canyoning, the nearby adrenaline park, flying in a glider, etc. There are also numerous possibilities for excursions into the mountains and more than 700 kilometres of marked trails for mountain bikers. The campsite is situated in a park, along with the oldest church in the Soča Val-ley; a large part of it is in a tree grove, while there are also several sunny spots. The centre of Bovec, one of the most beautiful touristic towns on the sunny side of the Alps, is only five minutes away by foot. Such a location is a big advantage, since everything that Bovec offers is within reach: sports agencies, tennis courts, covered pool, small airport, while the closest food market is only 50 metres away. Directly by the campsite is also a restaurant with a summer garden.Beautiful nature and rich historical and cultural heritage offer many possibilities. At the top of all these possibilities, among the beautiful mountains, is the Soča River, which enthrals with its attractive emerald colours and clarity and is a true Eldorado for fishermen and lovers of various white water sports.

The Liza campsite is located a mere 200 metres from where the clear and wild Korit-nica River flows into the emerald Soča River. ‘This is our second home’, say numerous guests who return year after year to this beautiful piece of our land. The camping area spreads out between the trees where, with a soft whisper of the river and in the em-brace of the clean and unspoilt nature, one can experience moments of tranquillity.The surroundings of the campsite offer numerous challenges throughout the year. The most attractive of them is naturally the Soča River, a paradise for wild water sports lovers and fishermen. The lovers of adrenaline sports, hiking and climbing and paragliders enjoy the area, while during the winter, the area is best for skiers and off-piste skiers. Not only nature, but also the rich historic and cultural heritage of the Bovec basin invite guests to visit numerous churches, monuments, museums, etc.

The campsite and stop for caravans are located on the Saksida farm in the Zalošče village in the Vipava valley. Among the vineyards, with only the sounds of nature, no sounds of engines to pollute the atmosphere, guests can relax and get to know life on the farm. The Saksida family offers typical Vipava dishes that our grandmas used to make, while the plates also include a modern touch. Delicious dishes can be tasted alongside home cellar wines – wine tasting in included in the overnight stay price.The nearby surroundings offer many trails for walking and cycling as well as natu-ral and cultural features. Visitors can walk the Bajer educational path or towards the nearby Nova Gorica and Gorizia, towards Karst or the Soča Valley. The hosts are always happy to provide all necessary information and advice on how to spend your leisure time.

The campsite is located by the Sušica stream opposite the Balnea Wellness Centre in Dolenjske Toplice Spa. In Best Campsite 2012, it was selected as the second best campsite in the category of small campsites in Slovenia. It provides modern parcels with direct electricity and water supply as well as waste water drainage; part of the land is intended for tents.Besides bathing in the 100-meter distant Balnea Wellness Centre, there are facilities for tennis, volleyball, soccer, basketball and outdoor hockey available. The campsite is a great starting point for cycling (it is possible to rent bicycles), fishing and boating on the Krka River, while the nearby Kočevski Rog is considered to be one of the rich-est hunting areas in Slovenia. Moreover, campsite guests can rent a scooter or canoe. There are also numerous cycling and walking paths around the campsite area, while guests can take part in interesting trips or visit diverse social and cultural events.

The Smlednik campsite, located by Zbilje Lake, is only 20 kilometres away from the Slovenian capital. Its environment – forest and green areas – provide tranquillity and relaxation to guests, who can find their spot in the sun or shade, right by the lake or a little bit farther away. Those who do not have their own tents or trailers can use the modern-equipped bungalows. Lake-lovers will enjoy the beach and wa-ter or participate in boating or fishing. Those who like sports and recreation might prefer table tennis tables, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts as well as a Bowls area and outdoor chess.There are also several possibilities for walking, cycling and mountaineering nearby. The campsite is a great starting point for trips to Škofja Loka, Kamnik, Kranj, Kam-nik Alps and, naturally, Ljubljana. There are also separate sanitary facilities and a nude beach for naturists.

The friendly and peaceful Kamne campsite is located in the idyllic Alpine Mojstrana resort, where mountains reach out their hands. The campsite can provide daily ac-commodation to 120 guests, not only in tents, but also in bungalows and cabins.The campsite provides a small pool, tennis courts and table-tennis facilities, while guests can also rent mountain bicycles in order to explore the diverse surround-ings. The campsite also sells fishing permits.The campsite is located in the direct vicinity of Triglav National Park and its beautiful Alpine valleys: Vrata, Kot and Krma; therefore, it is an ideal starting point for several easy and difficult trails to the Julian Alps and Karavanke. It’s also a starting point to ascend Triglav, the symbol of Slovenians and Slovenia. The campsite will take care that guests start their trips with suitable maps and all required information.

The Resnik campsite is only 500 metres away from the medieval town of Kamnik. It is 25 kilometres away from Ljubljana and around 15 kilometres away from the Jože Pučnik Aiport in Brnik.The green environment and sights of the Kamnik Mountains primarily attract ac-tive holiday lovers. The most interesting site nearby is definitely Velika planina, where guests can get to know the oldest shepherd's tradition in Europe.The campsite also includes sandy tennis courts. Guests can bathe in an outdoor Kamnik pool or relax the body and soul at the Snovik spa. Golf lovers will also be happy, since a golf course is only three kilometres away from the camp, located along the largest Slovenian park, Arboretum Volčji Potok. Recently, caravans have been especially welcome.

The Otočec campsite is situated in the direct vicinity of the famous Hotel Grad Otočec on the right bank of the Krka River and was completely restored in 2007. The Struga castle is not far away. The campsite is appropriate for transitional guests who stay only one or two nights as well as for guests who decide to stay for longer along the Krka River, the beauty of Dolenjska. In the vicinity of the camp, there is also a modern sports-recreational centre, which includes a hall with three indoor tennis courts, while outside there are six outdoor tennis courts and a multipur-pose sports surface for basketball, handball and volleyball. The tennis centre hall includes saunas, a solarium, fitness studio, table tennis area, massage area and a bar. This area is also famous for golf; therefore, the newest Slovenian golf course can be found in the direct vicinity of the campsite.

The Nadiža campsite in the Podbela village in Breginjski kot is embraced by the Stol and Mija mountains, while being situated by the confluence of the Nadiža and Bela rivers. It invites anyone who loves unspoilt nature and clear rivers with nice gravel areas. Locals even claim that the Nadiža River has healing characteristics.Only a couple of metres away from the existing campsite, lies a new camping area with a sanitary unit and sauna. Thirty spots are communally equipped with elec-tricity and water connections as well as drains, which trailers or caravans can use.

The Lijak campsite is located in the sunny Vipava Valley, in the Ozeljan village near Nova Gorica. It lies between the vineyards, under the edge of the Trnovo plateau, Julian Alps and the Adriatic Sea. It can be characterized with the words ‘eco’ and ‘sustainable’, since it uses installed sensors for lights in order to save energy and to save water by using environmentally-friendly cleaning products; it also raises awareness for environmentally-friendly behaviour among its guests.The campsite surroundings, which can take up to 250 guests, are suitable for hik-ing, cycling, riding, fishing, etc. The Mediterranean climate and excellent weather conditions throughout the year enable paragliding – the campsite has its own landing area under the Lijak hill. Guests can also head out towards the Soča Valley, Postojna or Škocjan Cave, the bridge in Solkan and even to Venice.

The campsite lies in unspoilt nature on the Slovenian-Croatian border along the Kolpa River, one of the cleanest Slovenian rivers. This is considered to be the perfect place for relaxation and pleasure. Namely, the Kolpa River becomes pleasantly warm during the summer, making it perfect for visitors to use for water activities; some even row along the river for several days together. Fishermen love it even more.The standard campsite offer – a new feature includes mobile homes – is supplement-ed by a pleasant restaurant with a summer garden where guests can arrange to have meals. The campsite facilities also include a children's playground, table tennis area, beach volleyball, basketball and soccer courts as well as a mini golf course. Nearby are a sports airport and a pond, while the surroundings are ideal for hiking and cycling trips. In the direct vicinity of Postojna Cave (3.5 kilometres), the pearl of the Karst world, in the midst of a bright spruce forest, above the underground Karst cave lies a tourist resort and Pivka jama campsite, which is accessible on a paved and well-marked road.Guests can take advantage of beautiful camping spots, 24 four-bed bungalows, a restaurant with a great culinary selection, a shop, two sanitary units with con-stantly available warm water, sports courts (tennis, beach volleyball, basketball) as well as a swimming and children's pool. The campsite is also a great starting point for excursions to surroundings both near and far away, hiking, cycling and im-mersing yourself in the rich cultural and natural heritage of the area. The Park campsite is located in the central part of the Lower Savinja Valley along the Savinja River and belongs to the category of small family camps. It is only 250 metres away from the Celje-Ljubljana highway (Šempeter exit). Besides the camping area, there are also beautifully equipped rooms available.Favourable climate and grassy surfaces guarantee a relaxing vacation in a peaceful corner of unspoilt nature. In the shade of pine trees, guests can walk along the Sav-inja River, fish or simply play in the pleasantly cool water. The campsite also includes a basketball court, while the nearby sports park offers a children's playground area. There are also possibilities for nearby fishing, cycling, tennis, climbing and hiking.The nearby surroundings include several cultural and natural features (Pekel cave, Ro-man necropolis) and numerous hiking trails (Mrzlica, Hom, mountain Oljka), while a little further down the road are the Logarska Valley, Golte and the Savinja Alps.

The Dolina campsite, which has received several awards for quality, is located in the heart of the Savinja Valley, known for its hops growing, in the geographical cen-tre of Slovenia. Due to its location, it is an excellent starting point for trips to all parts of Slovenia. It is recognizable for its cleanliness, peace and unspoilt nature. The campsite includes a heated water swimming pool (30 degrees Celsius) that offers special pleasure for children, a sauna area as well as a picnic area, social space and a garden. In the vicinity, there are tennis courts and facilities for horseback riding, hik-ing, climbing, rowing, rafting, cycling (65 kilometres of cycling trails in the Savinja Valley) and skiing during the winter.The nearby natural and cultural sights, where visitors simply must make a stop, in-clude the Roman necropolis in Šempeter and the Pekel cave near Šempeter; however, we should not forget all the features that are offered by the nearby Savinja Valley.

The campsite is only a kilometre away from Radovljica’s old city centre; it is situ-ated along the Radovljica pool under the wooded Obla and offers peace and pleas-ant atmosphere to its guests. There are 80 spots for setting up tents or trailers; in other words, around 300 guests can stay on this campsite.The lovers of pools can freshen up during summer in the 50-meter Olympic pool and children’s pool with heated water (entry into the pool complex is included in the camping price), while the lovers of recreation can use the beach volleyball courts. The campsite also includes children's playground equipment, while Radov-ljica sports park is in the direct vicinity, along with a large playground area for children and a shop. Guests can head out to see the old city centre, while the sur-roundings are appropriate for walking and hiking trips, cycling, rafting on the Sava Bohinjka and Dolinka Rivers, etc.

The Korita campsite (prior reservation is needed) is one of the most original camp-sites in Slovenia and probably in the entire Alps mountain range. It is located in the heart of Triglav National Park, in the Soča village (Trenta) beside the small riverbeds of the Soča River.The first ecological campsite in Slovenia is built from only natural materials. It is separately collecting waste, the majority of its energy resources are provided by the sun (solar lights, solar showers) and the campsite uses biodegradable cleaning products. The guests will be also surprised by features, such as wooden footbridges, natural steps, clematis fences, natural playground equipment, ‘live house’, etc. The ‘Soča beds’: open wooden houses with built-in tents, equipped with mattresses, sheets and pillows are another special feature.The campsite contains an abundance of adrenaline sports (Adrenalinček sports centre), while it also offers local food and organises events for companies, excursions and evening animation by campfire.

The Kolpa campsite is located below the Vinica village and castle, along the warm and clean Kolpa River. There are 60 camping spots available, equipped with elec-tricity, sanitary facilities, outdoor and indoor showers and a washing area. Guests without a roof above their head can also reserve a mobile home; some stay through-out the season.One can bathe in the Kolpa River, which is well known to fishermen and lovers of canoeing – there is arranged access to the river by canoe. Guests can also play vol-leyball and basketball, head out towards Bela krajina or simply enjoy a drink on a terrace of the campsite bar and enjoy the unspoilt nature along one of the cleanest rivers in Slovenia.
