THE SPECIAL CONSENSUS The Special Consensus band has received many awards from the IBMA in several categories and is a two time Grammy nominee. Their song Chicago Barn Dance was IBMA winner of Song of the Year in 2020. They are celebrating 45 years under the direction of banjo master Greg Cahill. This is one of the very top bands in bluegrass today.

MONTANA STANDARD This is a seasoned group of players who have kept bluegrass music alive in the northern regions of the US. Joe Rockafellow banjo, Larry Barnwell, guitar; Shawna Lockhart, bass and Reid Buckley, fiddle.

BLACK HILLS BLUEGRASS BAND The band was formed in 1981 to help provide music for the first Black Hills Bluegrass Festival. There have been changes in personnel but Doug Thomas, guitar and Carol McConnell, guitar & autoharp are original members. Pete Wouden, mandolin/banjo, Larry Lashley, fiddle and Chris Johnson, bass round out the band.

THAT DALTON GANG A group of young players who all grew up with music, bluegrass in particular. Cheyenne Dalton plays mandolin, Jimmy Meyer guitar, Wyatt Harman bass, Mason Ruble banjo. They are a very popular band at Silver Dollar City in Branson and the whole Missouri area.

THE WADDINGTON BROTHERS A versatile acoustic group with a musical style that ranges from traditional hard driving bluegrass to the mellow sound of western music harmonies reminiscent of the Sons of the Pioneers. They play the traditional bluegrass instruments with Seth on guitar, Ethan banjo, Jacob mandolin and Job on bass.
