ROLL OF HONOR

CAMPBELL – Killed in action in France on 9th November,

Henry, youngest son of the late Hugh and Rebecca Campbell, of Wyoming, Gosford, aged 34 years.

Gosford times 23.11.1917.

Mr C. Hills, manager of the Commercial Bank,

has just completed two memorial tablets to be

presented by the Narara Soldiers Recognition

Association to relatives of two Narara soldiers

killed in action, viz, Sergeant A. P. Curtis,

killed in action in France on October 22, 1917,

and Private Harry A Campbell, killed in action

in France 9th November, 1917. The tablets

bear excellent likenesses of the deceased sol-

diers. The designs, which are executed in wa-

ter color, represent the typical Anzac in ----,

bearing the Australian ensign, whilst, a trum-

peter is seen outlined against the dawn sound-

ing the “Last Post”. The tablets are works of

art, and we congratulate Mr Hills upon the dex-

terity and originality displayed.
