Funding Ideas for CampMANY PACKS HAVE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR CAMP. THERE ARE ALSO WAYS TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR SCOUTS TO COME TO CAMP THROUGH THE COUNCIL.
Camperships
A Campership is financial support provided to a Scout to help with the expenses of attending camp. Your Cubmaster or Pack Committee Chair should make the request for a Campership with the help of the Scout applying.
Applications can be found on the Glacier’s Edge Council Camping website or at either Council Service Centers and must be completely filled out and returned to the Council Service Center no later than March 15th.
Those Scouts joining a unit after March 15th may apply as soon as possible, up until June1st.
What Is a Campership?
Camp Cards
How Do Camp Cards Work? The Glacier’s Edge council wants every Cub Scout to experience Camp this summer. The camp card program is designed to help scout's get there.
A camp card is a discount card that sells for $5 and has multiple discounts that the customer can use throughout the year. Participating units will earn a 50% commission, which is $2.50 cents, for each card they sell. The sale begins in February and ends on March 16th.
The program is risk free, the unit pays nothing up front and can return any unsold cards.
