Introducción/Introduction

A simple tool, a person with the same rights as men. The social status of women has much evolved throughout history. But is this equality real?

Además, en todos los países, no está en la misma situación. En los países orientales, la mujer es considerada, muchas veces inferior al

hombre, y por tanto, con menos derechos.

In addition, in all countries, it is not in the same situation. In Eastern countries, the woman is considered, many times less than the man, and therefore, with fewer rights.

Edad Antigua/Old age

• Las mujeres ricas romanas podían estudiar hasta los doce años y a los catorce ya se les consideraba adultas y se les otorgaba un marido

• In the French Revolution, the women began to have voice in the company. Nevertheless, even they did not have rights as the man.

• Durante la Revolución industrial, se produjeron muchos cambios ideológicos. La mayoría de las mujeres se dedicaban al servicio doméstico, la confección de vestidos y la industria textil.

• During the industrial Revolution, many ideological changes took place. The majority of the women were devoting themselves to the domestic service, the confection of garments and the textile industry.

• Durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, el papel de la

mujer fue muy importante.

• Mientras los hombres estaban en la guerra, la

mujer fue llamada a hacer trabajos que antes no se le permitían.

• During the First World war, the paper of the woman was very important.

• While the men were in the war, the woman was called to do works that before were not allowing him.

• La situación de la mujer ha evolucionado mucho. Sin embargo todavía hay algunos países en los que las mujeres son consideradas inferiores al hombre. • The situation of the woman has evolved very

much. Nevertheless still there are some countries in which the women are considered to be lower than the man.

• A pesar de esto, tanto el hombre como la mujer han ido evolucionando.

• In spite of this, both the man and the woman have been evolving.
