In 1960 The Shadows released a guitar instrumental called Apache and the Golden Age of the guitar instrumental began. Move to 1996 and a 10 year old girl discovered Apache and asked for a red Fender Stratocaster as a birthday present. That girl was Zoe McCulloch who went on to become an international guitarist in her own right recording 6 instrumental albums, two entered for the Grammy’s. National Treasure, and without doubt one of Britain’s most talented and best loved comedians, British comedy award winner Billy Pearce appears on stage as part of his latest National tour in a night of adult comedy not to be missed! Billy’s jokes flow one after another, with such velocity that it’s like being on the receiving end of a machine gun. Although many of the themes Billy jokes about are of an adult nature, unlike other comedians, he never descends into the quagmire of crudity, nor does he rely on obscene language.

As Neil Diamond prepares to mark 50 years at the top of his profession, singer and guitarist Bob Drury, described as the UK’s ‘Voice of Neil’, celebrates the life and work of this musical legend.

The cast of 14 talented performers pay tribute to Dusty Springfield, The Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley, Brenda Lee, Petula Clark, Billy Fury, Cilla Black and more.

Adding to the wonderful sounds will be a live band, backing vocalists, and the Bobbysox Dancers.


Naturalist and television presenter Chris Packham returns with another fascinating show about all things wild! Chris is a wildlife expert, photographer and author with a passionate concern for conservation and the environment. Along with his stories and trademark irreverent humour Chris’ will share some of his stunning photographs in this captivating show for all the family.

Some of the skills we cover each term include improvisation skills, script work, monologues acting for camera and audition preparation. At the end of each term, the group will showcase their work to friends and family.

Not only will it help you to develop your acting skills but it is a terrific way to meet new friends.

Then our Youth Theatre is the place to be!

In an exciting and friendly environment, you will learn all about theatre-making. Whether you dream of being an actor or just want to boost your confidence, our Youth Theatre is open to you. There are no auditions; we just ask that you are as passionate about theatre as we are.

Each week you will take part in practical sessions that teach you techniques on how to use your voice, move and create convincing characters. Our Youth Theatre performs plays, devised work and musicals.

Payment, Booking Fees & Postage We accept all debit/credit cards except American Express. If paying by cheque please make payable to Surrey Heath Borough Council.

There is a booking fee for all credit card transactions and internet bookings of 50p per ticket. We charge £1 for posting out tickets, but reserve the right not to post tickets within 7 days of a show. Camberley Theatre Club members do not pay credit card fees or postage (internet fee still applies).

At evening performances, the Box Office remains open until 15 minutes after the show begins. *Except Bank Holidays.

Concession tickets can be purchased online but must be collected in person from the Box Office. Camberley Theatre reserves the right not to make all Group Ticket Offers and Family Tickets available for purchase online. Please check the terms and conditions before purchasing your tickets as we have a strict non-refund policy.

Reservations Reservations will be held for four days or until 48 hours prior to a performance, whichever is sooner. Camberley Theatre reserves the right not to allow ticket reservations for near sell-out shows.

Ticket Refunds & Exchanges Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Concessions Discounts are available on selected shows for the following groups: Children (under 16 years), Senior Citizens (over 60 years), Students (in full time education) and ES40 holders and those in receipt of benefit. Please bring proof of status.

Babes in Arms Policy A ticket must be purchased for any child over 18 months old. For our younger customers a limited number of booster seats are available.

Café Bar Opening Times The Café will be serving cakes and drinks from 10am, food served 12 noon - 2.30pm.

On evenings when there is a show or film on at the theatre, the Café will be serving meals from 5.30pm until show starts.

Access We have a Sennheiser infra-red system for hearing impaired patrons. Collect headsets from the Box Office and return after use.

George Kenner (Main exhibition) At the outbreak of the First World War, Kenner was a German artist living in London. He registered as an enemy alien and along with 350 other Germans was taken to Frith Hill prisoner of camp, Frimley, where he painted a series of pictures depicting camp life in the Spring, Summer and Autumn of 1915.

Natural Creations (Foyer Display)Barbara Jean Franklin has been creating amazing models using seeds, leaves and dried flowers for display at Hampton Court Flower Show. On display will be Royal regalia including crown sceptre and orb plus Egyptian head gear, necklace and eagle.

Why, What, When and Where (Main exhibition - Surrey Heath Museum) The museum’s collection covers the Surrey Heath area and this exhibition features both objects and archival material from the Borough to celebrate our unique heritage. Also featuring the Surrey Heath Mosaic - a special project working with the local community to create a mosaic of the area. The mosaic will be installed in front of the Obelisk in Camberley Town Park.

A Postcard From Surrey Heath (Foyer Display) A special display by a local collector, featuring 120 years of local scenes sent as postcards.
