The Conference Book will include all accepted papers. The printed book will consist of four-page paper versions. Accompanying electronic book on CD-ROM will contain full length papers (8-10 pages long).

Authors of papers accepted by ARCH 2016 Scientific Committee are kindly asked to prepare their oral presentations.The presentation should not exceed 12 minutes. Three additional minutes are left for discussion. These time limits should be strictly obeyed. The presentation should be prepared in PowerPoint and delivered 30 minutes before the session.

The conference venue is going to be in Wrocław University of Technology Congress Centre located in the university campus – in north-east part of the city ( ). www.konferencje.pwr.edu.plWrocław – the conference city – is the capital of Lower Silesia as well as one of the oldest and the most beautiful places in Poland. The city centre is crossed with an extensive network of the Odra River channels and tributaries making Wrocław a city of 12 islands and over 300 bridges, including many arch structures ( ). www.wroclaw.pl/enPoland – the next country hosting ARCH conference – has long tradition related to arch bridges. Over the whole country one can find many structures of that type including historical masonry arches reaching XIV century, typical solutions made of steel and concrete, as well as modern and spectacular bridges.

The title of the payment should include: a code ‘W2K4 ARCH 2016’, participant’s name and registration ID. Please note that the participant should cover all transfer charges. Also take into account that the bank transfer payment requires about 10 days to be booked on the conference account. Official receipt of ARCH 2016 will be sent by mail or will be handedd to you during the conference at the reception desk.

For student rate the confirmation document (student status) is required. A copy of valid confirmation document should be sent to the Conference Secretariat.

The condition for a paper publication is a registration of at least one of its authors. Maximum two papers per a single registration are going to be accepted in the conference.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received. Payment is required in full not later than 7 days before the Conference. Cancellation of the registration is possible until 30 days before the start of the event. 20% of the registration fee will be charged as operational costs. In all other cases the financial responsabilities of the participants remains fully effective.

Wrocław – the heart of Lower Silesia – is one of the oldest and the most beautiful places in Poland. This metropolis with over 600 thousand inhabitants concentrates diversified cultural life and multi-domain academic societies. Wrocław is also an important economic centre which continuously develops tightening relations with Europe, successively meeting new challenges coming from the whole world. The most significant progress of the city has been visible for the last several years. Its intensive infrastructural development, recently stimulated by selectionof Wrocław for hosting UEFA EURO 2012, includes, among others, the erection of  a modern football stadium with over 40 thousand seats, a 35-km-long motorway bypass of the city with the second largest cable-stayed bridgein Poland, a central ring road, a new airport terminal, several hotels as wellas modernization of the main railway station and the urban communication system.

In 2016 Wrocław with San Sebastián (Spain) holds the title of the European Capital of Culture.
