SBA Board: From the President:

Greetings,

Welcome back everyone! I hope you enjoyed your summers and are adjusting smoothly to being back in class.

As always, student organizations are busy planning intro-duction meetings for new students and welcoming returning students. This year’s club day is this Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. at the Alameda mall, between Bannan and Heafey. There, all student clubs will give information about their organization and collect contact information.

This Thursday the Student Bar Association will hold it’s an-nual Meet the SBA meeting. We’ll have sign up sheets for various social and community service committees, among others. We also will talk about the class representative elec-tions. In addition to class rep positions, our Part Time Vice President will be graduating in December, so any part time 2L, 3L, or 4L may run in a special election. Please email me at cjrosario@scu.edu if you have any questions.

To the incoming 1Ls, let me first say congratulations! First year is hard but try to enjoy yourselves. All the returning students are nice and always willing to talk about life, law school, and Santa Clara. Time flies and before you know it you’ll have new 1Ls asking for advice. Have fun, study hard, and meet a lot of people!
