En esta reunión se hará unanálisis de lo sucedido en el ultimoejercicio en la urbanización, seaprobaran las cuentas de el ejerciciopasado, se aprobará el nuevopresupuesto y se votara la nuevaJunta Directiva. A la reunión puedenasistir todos los propietarios de laurbanización que lo deseen pero, encaso de pertenecer a una comunidadde propietarios, solo podrá votar elpresidente, tampoco podrán votaraquellos que no estén al corrientede sus pagos a la EUC Sitio deCalahonda. The improvement project for Avda.De España continues its course. TheTown Hall’s attitude towards thisproject has been very positive as theyhave shown their agreement to theproject. con su política de no cooperar económicamente con lasurbanizaciones, dedican el dinero a obras en los núcleosurbanos. La ayuda solicitada se concreta en el tubo depluviales y las farolas tipo pescador, al día de hoy nohemos recibido respuesta a los escritos enviados. Conrespecto a la obtención de la licencia, ha habido variosretrasos debido a que cada vez que presentamos algo alAyuntamiento nos piden algo más; nada difícil de conseguir,solamente nos retrasa el inicio de la obra. Lo último quenos pidieron y que volvió a retrasar el trámite de licenciafue la contratación de un Director Técnico, ingenierocolegiado, que se hará cargo de la dirección de obras ennombre de la E.U.C. para velar por sus intereses y que nodepende del contratista. En sus visitas periódicas a la obray en sus reuniones con las partes dará constancia de quese están cumpliendo las condiciones estipuladas en elcontrato revisando las certificaciones parciales para autorizarpagos.Un factor importante a tomar en cuenta en la ejecución deeste proyecto es que se disturbe en la menor medida posiblela actividad económica de la avenida, es decir, mantenerla posibilidad de libre circulación tanto de peatones, comode coches y aparcamiento para los clientes del comerciolocal. La idea era comenzar la obra a comienzos de añopara no estar en obras durante períodos de mayor actividadeconómica para los comercios (Navidad, verano, semanasanta.) pero se ha ido retrasando debido a los trámites enel Ayuntamiento. Es por ello, por lo que hemos decididoacometer la obra por tramos, comenzaríamos por la rotondaya que distribuiría y ordenaría el trafico durante las obras,el plazo de ejecución de la misma no es muy elevado portanto se haría antes de Semana Santa. Después,acometeríamos el lado derecho, según se baja por Avdade España, pues ACOSOL necesita instalar tuberías desaneamiento para dar este servicio a muchas casas de c/Almería, Granada e incluso Avda de España, que carecende él y siguen usando fosas sépticas que, por su antigüedad,dan problemas de filtraciones en las casas, jardines y víaspúblicas; además tienen que instalar una nueva tubería deimpulsión desde el depósito de Mancomunidad y otradistribución de agua pues en ese tramo la que existe esmuy antigua y es de cemento. En ese lado se hará unaacera, mas estrecha que la actual, y una zona deaparcamiento. Esta primera fase del proyecto debe estarterminada antes del inicio de la época estival, pudiendoaprovecharse los nuevos aparcamientos que se crearan,unos 47. Por ello, y como todoslos años, comenzará en brevela campaña de prevención deincendios en la que se haráncortafuegos en las zonasverdes y se limpiaran lospuntos necesarios. Esto nosignifica que se limpien los600.000 metros cuadrados, nique barramos el campo. Laurbanización tiene elaboradodesde hace años un plan deprevención de incendios queno solo consiste en la limpiezade zonas verdes, tambiéntenemos instalados hidrantespor toda la urbanización queson revisados por losbomberos todos los años antesde la temporada estival. Si seproduce un incendio en unazona verde, lo primero que vaa estudiar la inspección demedio ambiente y el servicioSEPRONA de la GuardiaCivil es si el incendio ha sidoprovocado por algún vecinoo e s c a u s a d e l aautocombustión de residuosvegetales arrojados a la zonaverde. Investigaran a lospropietarios de las zonascolindantes y en el caso de quehayan arrojado restos a la zonaverde serán ellos los quehabrán de pagar todos losmedios desplegados para la extinción del incendio, además deser sancionados con una suma importante de dinero.Estamos trabajando muy seriamente para que los propietarioso sus jardineros no arrojen restos poda, escombros, muebles…en las zonas verdes. Todo aquel propietario que utilice laszonas verdes como un basurero o una escombrera será denunciadoal departamento de Medio ambiente y a la Guardia Civil.A modo de comentario queremos decirles que estamos trabajandopor un medio ambiente mejor, queremos concienciar a lapoblación de la necesidad de reciclar, de la necesidad de ahorraro consumir de forma más efectiva el agua y la luz pues sonrecursos limitados, y queremos, dentro las posibilidades que nosofrecen nuestros recursos limitados, empezar a trabajar en serioen estas materias.

Should there be a firein a green area, the first thingt h a t t h e e n v i r o n m e n tinspection and the GuardiaCivil Seprona service aregoing to study is if it wascaused by some neighbour orby self combustion of gardenrubbish thrown on the greenarea. They will investigatethe owners of the surroundingareas and if these have thrownany rubbish onto the greenarea it will be them who have

to pay for all the services deployed to put it out and they willalso be heavily fined.We are working very hard to ensure that owners or their gardenersdo not throw garden rubbish, rubble or furniture onto greenareas. Any owner who uses green areas as a rubbish dump willbe reported to the Environment Department and the GuardiaCivil.We would like to mention that we are working towards a betterenvironment and want to make the population aware of thenecessity to recycle, to save water and electricity as they arelimited resources, and we would like to, within our limitedpossibilities, start working seriously on these matters.

El pasado 14 de febrero organizamos en la urbanizaciónla replantación de la zona quemada del parque vivero. Estaactividad, en la que colaboró el servicio de medio ambientedel Ayuntamiento de Mijas, iba dirigida a los niños yjóvenes de la zona para que se concienciaran con lapreservación de la naturaleza. Lo cierto es que esta actividadtuvo mucha aceptación, acudieron muchos niños, familiascompletas y se replantaron unos 150 árboles de variasespecies en la rivera del arroyo se plantaron álamos ysauces; en la zona mas quemada chaparros, acebuches(olivos salvajes), almecinos, lentiscos, alcornoques yaladiernos. Juan Luís Vega del Ayuntamiento de Mijas, yvecino de la urbanización, explicó a todos los presentes elmodo de plantar los árboles y supervisó de principio a fintoda la actividad. Los niños pusieron especial interés enplantar y ponerle una etiqueta con su nombre a los arbolitosque iban plantando, así, durante un tiempo, podrán visitarlos,regarlos y cuidarlos hasta que sean mayores. Después dela actividad, se repartieron camisetas, snack y algunosrefrescos, que hicieron las delicias de niños y mayores.Esperamos repetir la reforestación el año que viene en otrazona de la urbanización, publicitar más la actividad paraque llegue a mayor número de personas ya que todos losasistentes se fueron muy contentos.

On the 14th of February we organised in the urbanisationa reforestation of the burnt area at the parque vivero. Thisactivity, in which the Environment Department of MijasTown Hall collaborated, was aimed towards children andyoungsters of the area for them to be aware of preservingnature. The truth is that this activity was well received,many children attended with their families and about 150trees of several species were planted. By the riverbank,poplars and willows were planted, in the most burnt areakermes oaks, wild olive trees, almecinos, lentiscos, corktrees and aladiernos were planted. Juan Luis Vega fromMijas Town Hall and neighbour of the urbanisation,explained to all those attending how to plant the trees andsupervised from beginning to end all the activity. Childrenpaid special attention to the tree planting and putting labelswith their names on the trees they had planted so that theycan go to visit them, water them and look after them untilthey grow larger. After the activity, we offered t-shirts,snacks and drinks to the delight of children and adults. Wehope to be able to repeat this event next year in anotherarea of the urbanisation and publish the activity for evenmore people to come as all those attending left very happy.

The operative services of our urbanisation have beenworking, following the advice of our Environment Director,on a project for a path that is nearly completed, “a naturalisland within an urban area, where the fauna and flora willbe identifiable and displayed on interpretive notices thatwill invite us to enjoy nature”. We have also built a woodenbridge that will allow access to the path through the entranceon Avda. De España which the children will undoubtedlylove. It is a green area of Calahonda that has a greatecological importance where the dense vegetation and theavailability of water from the pond throughout all the yearmake this a place frequented by many different animalsand especially birds. We suggest that you learn more aboutit through an interpretive itinerary. Walking along this pathmeans enjoying a pretty part of the urbanisation and at thesame time learning about the natural heritage that livesthere. Several notices show visitors the peculiarities of theautochthonous vegetation that grows in this area such aspine trees, cork trees or the dense undergrowth that hasproliferated by the river under the canopy of the eucalyptustrees. All along the path you will find information that willhelp you identify a great number of birds. We hope youenjoy your walk and don’t forget the recommendationsfor its use. Protecting and taking care of this area iseveryone’s duty.

Los servicios operativos de nuestra urbanización han estadotrabajando, bajo las indicaciones de nuestro Director deMedio Ambiente, en el proyecto de sendero que está apunto de culminarse, “una isla natural dentro un áreaurbanizada, donde se podrán contemplar e identificar,fauna y flora autóctona en carteles interpretativos, que nosinvitaran a disfrutar de la naturaleza”. Para ello, tambiénse ha construido un puente de madera, que dará acceso adicho sendero desde la entrada situada en la Avda. deEspaña, y que sin duda gustará mucho a los niños. Se tratade una Zona Verde de Calahonda de gran importanciaecológica donde la densa vegetación y la disponibilidadde agua en el estanque durante todo el año hacen que estelugar sea frecuentado por muchas especies animales y enespecial por las aves. Les proponemos conocerlo másprofundamente a través de un itinerario interpretativo.Caminar por este sendero supone disfrutar de un bonitorincón de la urbanización y a la vez conocer mejor elpatrimonio natural que lo habita. Varios paneles mostraranal visitante las peculiaridades de la vegetación autóctonaque crece en este lugar como son el pinar, el alcornocal oel denso sotobosque que ha proliferado junto al arroyobajo el dosel de los eucaliptos. A lo largo del senderoencontrará información que le ayudará a identificar unbuen número de aves. Esperamos que disfruten del paseoy no olviden las recomendaciones para su uso. Cuidar yproteger este espacio es tarea de todos.

Queremos resaltar el gran esfuerzo que realiza laGuardia Civil en nuestra Urbanización, tanto enprevención como en asistencia a delitos, teniendo encuenta que han de controlar todo el término municipalde Mijas que es muy extenso. Cada vez sonmás habituales los controles en las rotondas y accesosa nuestra Urbanización, ya sea por miembros del cuartelde Mijas o por efectivos del GRS grupo especial de laGuardia Civil que vienen periódicamente desde Sevilla.Tenemos muy buenas relaciones con el cuerpo de laGuardia Civil y gracias a ello nos aconsejan y nosayudan a organizar con mejores resultados los vigilantesque patrullan nuestra urbanización. La Policía Municipal de Mijas, que depende de nuestroAyuntamiento, como ustedes saben, presta más atencióna los núcleos urbanos que  a las Urbanizaciones. Estasituación no va a cambiar a corto plazo, aunque ya seles está viendo un poco más por nuestra área.Para intentar dar mayor cobertura a los propietariosde la Urbanización, tenemos contratado un servicio deSeguridad Privada, que consta de dos vehículospatrullando la Urbanización, posicionándose en lossitios más conflictivos que hemos determinado segúnel estudio de las estadísticas de incidente quedisponemos. Así mismo, posicionamos un vigilante enla caseta de Avda de España 24h. y dos más en lacaseta de Calle Huelva y Cipreses en horario limitado.El presupuesto no nos da para más.En el último año, hemos tenido varias reuniones conel Director de CPV- Carman para expresar nuestrasquejas referentes a la actitud de algunos vigilantes enlas casetas de Control, los han ido sustituyendo, conla consiguiente mejora de este servicio.Sabemos que este servicio disuasorio que ejercen losvigilantes y la presión de la Guardia Civil, tienen comoresultado una menor cantidad de delitos cometidos ennuestra Urbanización con respecto a las Urbanizacionesvecinas. We would like to explain the enormous effort that theGuardia Civil makes in the urbanisation, both in preventionmeasures and attending crimes, taking into account thatthey have to cover the whole municipality of Mijas whichis a very large area. We can see more often controls at theroundabouts and entrances to our urbanisation, either bymembers of the Mijas Headquarters or the GRS group, aspecial group of the Guardia Civil that comes from Sevilla.We have a very good relationship with the Guardia Civiland thanks to this we can organise with better results thesecurity guards that patrol our urbanisation.The Local Police of Mijas who depend on our Town Hall,as you know, pay more attention to urban centres than tourbanisations. This situation is not going to change anytimesoon, though we do see them a bit more often in our area.In order to try to give a larger coverage to the owners ofthe urbanisation, we have hired a Private Security service,in which we have two cars patrolling the urbanisation andchecking the most conflictive areas that we have determinedby studying the robbery statistics we have. Also we havea security guard at the hut on Avda. De España 24 hrs. aday and another two at the huts in calle Huelva and Cipreseson a timetable. The budget won’t stretch any further.In the last year we have held several meetings with theManager of CPV-Carman to inform him of our complaintsabout the attitude of some of the guards at the securityhuts, who have since then been changed. This service hasimproved these last months.We know that this deterrent service that the guards carryout and the pressure of the Guardia Civil have resulted ina fewer amount of crimes committed in our urbanisationin comparison with other nearby urbanisations.Nevertheless, we continue putting pressure on the securitycompany for them to improve the service and hold meetingswith them each month. Shortly we will be giving them alist of duties that the security guards must carry out duringthe service.There are owners who request the assistance of the securityguards to solve personal problems between neighbours.These problems must be solved between yourselves or bycalling the Local Police or making a report through theadministrator of your community. The security guardscannot interfere in personal matters between neighboursunless they are physically at risk. Nevertheless, they will

El objetivo de Acosol, la empresa encargada del suministrode agua, es asegurar un correcto funcionamiento del sistemay que sea acorde con las características requeridas pornuestra urbanización y con este fin han invertido eninfraestructuras y mejoras de los depósitos de agua.

Durante el año pasado la empresa ha efectuado las siguientesreparaciones y mejoras;

- Ha instalado nuevos sistemas de cloración en dos denuestros depósitos de agua y han realizado variasreparaciones en los sistemas de control eléctrico.- Han instalado la nueva tubería de impulsión desde eldepósito situado debajo de la oficina de la EUC al depósitode Monteparaiso.- Han reemplazado tuberías de distribución en las callesSevilla, Van Dulken y Pinos.- En sanidad, han examinado mediante cámara robóticavarios tramos de tuberías con una longitud de 160 metrosentre calle Málaga y Avda. de España además de otrasáreas de la urbanización.- En el depósito de agua junto a la oficina de la comunidady el depósito en Monteparaíso han instalado un nuevosistema de telemando junto con un sistema de control,punto por punto entre ambos depósitos.- También se ha instalado un sistema de control en los

It is the aim of Acosol, the company responsible for ourwater supply, to ensure that we have a properly functioningwater supply system that meets the requirements of oururbanisation and to that end they have made investmentsis several areas, within the infrastructure and the waterdeposits.

During the past year the company have carried out thefollowing repairs and improvements:

- They have installed new systems of chlorination in twoof our water deposits and made several necessary repairsto electrical control systems.- They have installed new pipes with a diameter of 300mmwith an interior of polyurethane and a length of 400 metres,replacing a stretch of cement piping.- They have also replaced pipes in Calle Seville and Callevan Dulken. Work has also taken place at Calle Pinos.- In sanitation they have examined by means of a roboticcamera several stretches of pipes with a length of 160metres between Calle Malaga and Avda de Espana as wellas other areas within the urbanisation.- At the water deposit by the Community Office and depositat Monteparaiso they have installed a new telemandosystem along with a system of control, point to pointbetween each deposit.

Estos trabajos arriba indicados son sólo algunas de lasmejoras que han llevado a cabo en el último año, sonmuchos los trabajos realizados y es imposible listarlastodas. Actualmente, Acosol continúa con su programa derenovar tramos de viejas tuberías cuando se encuentrancon una fuga o rotura, tanto en saneamiento como en agua.Piensan que es mejor seguir una política de prevenciónde roturas o fallos que esperar a que la avería se produzca.Este es un proceso largo, pero valdrá la pena cuando seobtengan los resultados.

¿Se acabó la sequía?La lluvia de los dos últimos meses ha terminado con lasequía, oficialmente se han levantado las restricciones.Ha llovido tanto que el embalse más pequeño, el de LaConcepción, ha tenido que desaguar al mar por segundavez en un mes. Sin embargo, no podemos asegurar queno estemos en la misma situación el año que viene o elsiguiente, al día de hoy, tras muchos años de hablar, notenemos una desaladora en Mijas, los trabajos para bombearagua de La Concepción a Málaga no han sido completadosen la fecha de escribir este artículo. Las empresasconstructoras han parado de hacer edificaciones de modoquizá para cuando empiecen a construir de nuevo tengamosun suministro de agua adecuado a la población y lasnecesidades de la zona en vez de seguir rezando por quellueva.

Drought Is Over?Officially the drought that has lasted for several years isnow over as we have had a lot of rain during the past twomonths. In fact we have had so much rain that the smallestof the reservoirs, La Conception, had to have the gatesopened to let water pour into the sea for the second timein one month. However, we cannot be entirely sure if wewill not be back in the same situation either next year orthe year after. Still today, after many years of talking, wehave no desalination plant in Mijas nor has the work tostart pumping water from La Conception to Malaga beencompleted at the time of writing. At least the constructionindustry has come to a stop so perhaps by the time thatthey start building again we will have a proper water supplyto rely on, rather than just hoping it will rain.

No es necesario explicarles la situación económica mundialy su impacto en la costa del sol y en nuestra urbanizaciónpara entender la bajada de cobros en el ejercicio reciénterminado. A pesar de la que está cayendo nuestrosresultados no han sido malos puesto que “solo” se hareducido algo menos de un 2% los cobros del 2008 conrespecto al 2007. Para evitar que esta cifra se incrementedebemos de esforzarnos aún mas desde el primer momentoy para ello se ha iniciado los trámites necesarios parareclamar las cantidades impagadas a través de los juzgadosuna vez agotadas todas las vías alternativas. Una vezcelebrada la Asamblea y sean aprobados los saldos dedeudores se iniciarán nuevas reclamaciones.Con respecto al presupuesto del 2009 la Junta Directivaha considerado de vital importancia no incrementar lascuotas y para ello se ha decidido mantener el mismo importeque en el ejercicio pasado.

Como ya les comentamos habíamos solicitado al Ministeriode Fomento el mantenimiento del vial que transcurre entrela rotonda y la salida a la A7 dirección Fuengirola, elargumento esgrimido es que el mencionado vial es laentrada y salida a la AP7, por tanto debería estar mantenidopor Autopista del Sol o por el Ministerio de Fomento, deese escrito recibimos contestación en la cual nos denegaronla solicitud y afirmándose en que éramos nosotros losencargados de su mantenimiento por entender que es unvial privado de la urbanización que no fue expropiado.Esta contestación, por ser meramente informativa, resultadifícil de impugnar, por tanto la Junta Directiva ha optadopor remitir un nuevo escrito al Ministerio en el que se pideexpresamente la inclusión de este vial en la zona de dominiopúblico y, por tanto, de mantenimiento de la A-7. En casode respuesta negativa o de no recibir contestación en elplazo de tres meses, se podría interponer un contencioso-administrativo.

As we have already mentioned we requested the Ministryof Development to maintain the road that goes from theroundabout to the entry to the A7 towards Fuengirola. Theargument we use is that this road is the entrance and exitto the AP7, therefore it must be maintained by the motorway(Autopista del Sol) or by the Ministry of Development.We received a reply to our letter in which they deny ourrequest and affirm that we have to maintain it because theyconsider it is a private road of the urbanisation that wasnot expropriated. This reply, being just informative, is hardto impugn, so we have decided to send another letter tothe Ministry in which we expressly ask them to include itwithin the public domain and maintenance area of the A-7. Should we receive a negative reply or not receive a replyat all within three months, we will start a contentious-administrative procedure.

En el mes de febrero hemos tenido una reunión con elalcalde de Mijas, D. Antonio Sánchez, y el concejal deurbanizaciones, D. Lázaro Díaz, para que nos aclararan lacuestión de siempre: Si los viales y las zonas comunes dela urbanización son públicos o privados y si es obligacióndel ayuntamiento el mantenimiento de los mismos o loque podemos esperar es una “limosna” o la concesión deuna “gracia” por parte de los presupuestos de nuestroAyuntamiento. El señor alcalde nos explicó que todo esoestá pendiente de un estudio por parte del abogadomunicipal, que en la actualidad está muy ocupado contemas de más urgencia y mayor importancia. Le hicimosnotar que las urbanizaciones se construyeron de acuerdocon la normativa vigente en la época en la que se aprobaronlos planes parciales y que, en muchos casos, es imposibleque se ajusten a la normas actuales -al igual que las callesde los llamados núcleos urbanos- que es lo que en ocasionespretenden exigir.Otro tema que tratamos es la dejadez del ayuntamiento ala hora de contestar escritos de peticiones o sugerenciasenviados por las urbanizaciones y concertar reuniones. Portanto pedimos que por lo menos se conteste a nuestraspeticiones aunque sea de forma negativa, pues son muchaslas veces en que es difícil explicar a los vecinos que nohemos recibido ninguna contestación del Ayuntamientoen temas de especial interés para los habitantes de lasurbanizaciones.Por ultimo, solicitamos unidad de criterio entre los diferentesdepartamentos del Ayuntamiento, pues en ocasiones loque dice un departamento es negado por otro y ademásque si consideran que algo es importante hagan unseguimiento de si el departamento en cuestión hace o noel trabajo.La reunión terminó emplazándonos para el mes de Marzo,reunión en la que se verán los resultados de las peticioneshechas por las urbanizaciones.

We informed him that the urbanisations were builtaccording to the rules in force at that time and that in manycases it would be impossible for them to adjust to thecurrent rules, just like the roads of the so-called urbanareas, as they pretend to request.Another subject we discussed was the Town Hall’scarelessness when replying to letters with requests orsuggestions sent by urbanisations and arranging meetings.Therefore, we request that at least they reply to our letterseven if it is in a negative way, as on many occasions it isvery difficult to explain to the neighbours that we haven’treceived a reply from the Town Hall in matters of specialinterest to the inhabitants of urbanisations.Lastly, we requested them to have a united criterion betweenthe different departments, as sometimes what onedepartment says is denied by another and also that if theyconsider that a matter is important they should keep aneye on the department to see if the work is being done ornot.The meeting ended summoning us for the month of Marchto another meeting in which we will see the results of therequests made by the urbanisations.

El problema de correos es el cuento de nunca acabar,cuando no se va un cartero, esta de vacaciones o hay quesustituirlo por enfermedad, el resultado de estos pequeñosinconvenientes es que el correo no se reparte o en el mejorde los casos se reparte mal y tarde. Concientes desde hacetiempo del problema que esto supone para muchos vecinos,y aún a sabiendas de que es una relación personal delvecino con correos, hemos mantenido varias reunionescon el jefe de reparto de correos de Fuengirola - Mijas, Sr.Maldonado, el cual nos comenta que el problema radicaen el modo como están numeradas las casas de nuestrascalles y en la forma en que se escriben las direcciones.Según Maldonado, es de vital importancia renumerar lascalles de toda la urbanización para que cada casa, parcelao local tengan números correlativos desde el principio delas calles, situando los pares a la derecha e impares a laizquierda. Recientemente se ha abierto al público una nueva oficinade correos en el Centro Comercial El Zoco, que prestarásus servicios desde Miraflores a Calahonda Royale, losservicios que se ofrecen enla misma son el envío depaquetes y cartas, la recogidade los mismos y el alquilerde apartados postales. Elenvío de correos a domiciliosigue dependiendo del sectorFuengirola - Mijas por tantola apertura de esta oficina nohará que varíe o sea máseficaz el mismo.El jefe de reparto deFuengi ro la -Mi jas noscomentó que muchas de lascartas que se devuelven sonpor tener la direcciónerrónea, en la actualidad losespacios dedicados en losimpresos de las empresassuministradoras, bancos… alas direcciones de correosson muy pequeños, por tanto no caben todos los datos. Loimportante es poner el nombre y número de la calle enprimer lugar, el nombre de la subcomunidad, y otros datosque son de menor interés dejarlos para el final, puesnormalmente al incluirlos en sus bases de datos no entranen el espacio reservado para ello.

La realidad, es que al día de hoy no podemos decirles concerteza si se van a arreglar las cosas en nuestra urbanizacióno no, porque como es habitual se va a comenzar por LaCala, Las lagunas y el pueblo. Sentimos decirles quemientras tanto deben de seguir emitiendo sus quejas en lapágina Web o en el teléfono 902 197 197 en horario delunes a viernes de 8,00 a 21,00 y los sábados de 9,00 a1,00 por teléfono atienden en Ingles.

FERIA DE NEGOCIOS BUSINESS FAIR

Un grupo de empresarios de la zona va a hacer una feria de losnegocios los días 21 y 22 de marzo en la zona del centro comercialLas Postas a la entrada de nuestra urbanización. El motivo dela misma es dar a conocer a los vecinos los diversos comerciosy negocios que hay en nuestra zona, siendo más necesaria lapromoción de los negocios en esta época en la que la economíano parece ir muy bien. Es por ello que los negocios necesitanel empuje que significará darlos a conocer a todos los vecinosque estén interesados. Desde la organización nos dicen: “Es fácildarse por vencido y cerrar las puertas, pero el hecho es quetodavía hay clientes potenciales, sólo hay que persuadirles unpoco más para que compren. Estaba buscando una manera baratade promocionar mi negocio y cuando no la encontré, decidíorganizarla yo misma. Espero que este evento reúna a los negocioslocales, ofrezca excelentes oportunidades de red y promocioneestos negocios a nuevos clientes.”Está claro que los negocios necesitan ir más lejos para atraerclientes y seguir a flote durante estos tiempos difíciles, pero notienen mucho dinero para promocionarse. El evento no se hadiseñado para obtener beneficios, sólo para cubrir los costes delstand y mantener el precio suficientemente bajo para que hastaun negocio pequeño se lo pueda permitir.

A group of local businesses are going to hold a business fair onthe 21st and 22nd of March at Las Postas shopping centre at theentrance of the urbanisation. The reason for this business fair isshowing the neighbours the different businesses that there arein our area to promote the businesses of the area at this timewhen the economy is not going so well. SEVILLANA ENDESA SEVILLANA ENDESA

A partir del 1 de noviembre, el Real Decreto 1578/2008indica que la facturación debe de ser mensual y no cadados meses como venían haciendo hasta la fecha. Laslecturas reales del contador seguirán siendo bimestrales,suponiendo que se alternarán meses con factura en basea consumo real y meses con factura en base a consumoestimado. Sevillana insiste que para realizar la estimacióndel consumo se utilizará el método de estimación tomandocomo referente el consumo medio mensual de los últimos12 meses.El problema surge cuando, en el recibo de enero, Sevillana- Endesa cobra el consumo de diciembre con el incrementodel 2009. Esto quiere decir que millones de personas hanpagado de más. En un principio la FACUA – Consumidoresen Acción – aconsejaban que es necesario hacerreclamaciones individuales pero la Junta de Andalucíaacaba de anunciar que le da a la compañía un plazo de unmes para empezar a ingresar el dinero cobrado de más,incluso a los que no hayan reclamado. Se está comentandoque la devolución se hará a razón de un euro al mes, al díade hoy todavía ni es seguro el modo de devolución.

As from the first of November 2008, the Royal Decree 1578/2008,obliges that electricity bills be issued every month and not everytwo months as was happening until now. The electricity company(Sevillana) does not read the metres every month but continuesto read them every two months as before. This means that, onalternative months, Sevillana will be issuing a bill on an estimatedconsumption of electricity and, the following month, you willreceive a bill with the correct reading of the two months. Sevillanainsist that the estimated reading is taken from the monthlyaverage of the previous year’s consumption.The problem arises in January’s bill, when Sevillana chargeDecember’s electricity consumption with the yearly increase for2009. This means that millions have been over-charged in theJanuary bill. Initially, the Consumer’s Associations wereinforming everyone that they had to fill in an individual claimat their offices, but the Autonomous Government has justannounced that they have given the electricity company a periodof one month to start reimbursing the money incorrectly chargedwhether a reclamation has been presented or not. It has beensuggested that these refunds will be made at the rate of one europer month, but to date the method to be used for reimbursementhas not been confirmed.

Elmapa ha sido financiado gracias a los negocios que se hananunciado en el mismo.

We have issued a new map with the streets, sub-communities, places of interest in our urbanisation,telephone numbers and useful information about oururbanisation. 15.000 copies have been printed and as wellas having them at the office, we have supplied copies tothe Local Police, the Guardia Civil, Firemen, businesses,and to the different security huts for those visitors whoneed them. The map has been financed by the businessesadvertised on the same.

REJILLAS METAL GRILLS

Estamos teniendo muchos problemas con las rejillas instaladaspara la entrada de vehículos en las casas, pues no estáncorrectamente instaladas lo que hace que provoquen peligro parael trafico rodado, así como, que se acumulen residuos queimpiden que el agua discurra por el cunetin invadiendo la calzaday deteriorándola, por tanto vamos a proceder a la retirada demuchas de ellas.. En caso de necesitar un acceso menospronunciado, será necesaria la elevación de la cuneta, para ellodeben de tener una autorización de la EUC Sitio de Calahondaya que se trata de un vial público, les rogamos que se acerquena la oficina para que les den las correspondientes indicacionespara hacer los accesos rodados a sus viviendas.
