The purpose o! this policy is to state AD e'pectations !or the design and stewardship o! AD !acilities so that the desired results are achieved in terms o! sa!e" relia#le" economic"and environmentally$sensitive per!ormance%

To !ul!ill this policy:

• AD will adopt and issue !acilities design and stewardship standard prepared and

maintained #y AD (aintenance Department%• AD will develop and adopt a local written standard in support o! this policy" #ased on

AD corporate standard% Those will #e reviewed #y the relevant technical e'perts !or content and completeness%

• AD will ensure that their practices and management controls are consistent with this

policy" and that modi!ications or changes in design" or operating procedures" are managedso as to remain in compliance%

• Internal audits to con!irm compliance with this policy will #e conducted #y trained AD

personnel" assisted as necessary #y the AD and ) or other competent personnel" at the!requency determined #y AD%

• *'ternal compliance audits will #e commissioned #y AD ( who will determine thescope o! the audits" to #e conducted #y AD Technical +ervices Department ,T+D-" or other !unctional e'perts under the auspices o! the AD T+D%

• *'ternal audits will #e conducted at intervals not to e'ceed . years%
