11. VURLICE MONTAVAL - Not devoid of ability but has not raced since last March. Best to watch on return

12. A NICE BOY - Course winner. Shoes comme off and could be the surprise package

13. VAGABOND D'ECHAL - Best to forget last run. Previous form is solid and has to be shortlisted

14. CALVIN BOREL - Unable to recapture his past form and therefore has too much to find

15. VASCO DE GRAUX - Consistent performer and as good as ever. Must be hugely respected

16. SIBELLE DU LUOT - Ten years old mare whose recent form does not make appeal

Summary (14) CALVIN BOREL is the class act in this line-up and looks to have every chance. No doubt he'll prove hard to get passed if he manages to keep his stride all way around. Runner-up to the selection in a class B last year (4) RED TEAM REX is once again a serious opponent. (10) REGIO scored impressively at Amiens and should at the premises too. (13) VAGABOND D'ECHAL and (15) VASCO DE GRAUX are best of the remainders.

9. BAMBA DES LANDES - Consistent performer in this class of event and has to be on the shortlist

10. BRASILIA DU BOURG - Good last two runs and cannot be dismissed lightly in here

11. BABETTE DE BANNES - Won last three starts in a convincing style so could make it four in a row

12. BELLE DE LA VALLEE - On the rise as shows her last start so looks capable of grabbing a place

13. BOMBE PETTEVINIERE - Possibly better on grass at present and not a priority in this race

14. BARCELONA BELLA - Ideally entered at 60 Euros from the threshold and as good as ever

Summary This is a very competitive race and few of them can win it. (11) BABETTE DE BANNES's last form worked out very well and she could be winning her fourth race in a row. (6) BLIND FAITH ran impressively last time at this course and should go close too. (14) BARCELONA BELLA is as good as ever and appears as another good possibility for gold.

(7) AIGLE ROYAL is far more reliable and could be the alternative for gold if the selection happens to run below par. (12) APIS DE TILOU deserves another chance. Summary (5) DIFFERENT CHARM did get an awfull run last time out while he clearly had the ressources to win and he should not let the punters down this time. (8) DEEP IMPACT made quite an impression when scoring at Wolvega and should be able to up his game. (3) DANSEUR SOMOLLI is another nice prospect with a proper amount of ability and he should also be retained.

8. CADET JOYEUX - Showed better intention in last start. Well-spoken and could be the spoiler

Summary (11) CHIQUITO DE LOU is hard to fault since his career debut and deserves more than any other horse in the race to break his duck. Summary It is a poor enough claimer in all honesty. (7) KOMODO makes a fair bit of appeal as he is so unexposed and yet has shown enough ability to at least be competitive here. The price could be good too. (4) SINGARAJA will be a danger to the selection. (2) HAWWA is dropping in class off a poor effort last time. (1) SHAPUR might place.

Summary (11) BIG LETTERS makes a bit of appeal at what could be very rewarding odds. The Whipper filly showed a return to form here last time and is off a very attractive mark for today's assignment. (5) AVOCAT and (1) BONITA CHICA are two serious contenders and deserve loads of respect. Another to consider is (6) ESTAFINA.

9. DEMOISELLE SMART - Third on her middle of three runs but will need to improve dramatically to score

10. FLY WITH US - Bettered flat form when close fourth on hurdles debut last month and sure to be a player

11. ROKEPINE - Not too much to shout about in three flat starts and best watched here

12. CINQUANTE ET UNE - Nothing so far on all runs and very easy to dismiss out of hand

Summary (2) MIXED MIND is by an excellent young up and coming sire of jumpers as well as on the flat and this Soldier Of Fortune gelding showed he has the ability to land this with his good run at Chateaubriant last month. It is amazing what a flight of hurdles will do for and ex flat animal and that was the case with (10) FLY WITH US last time. (8) DIKY and (4) KELMAN SENORA can place.

Summary In all truth this is a very poor contest indeed and will take very little winning but still it will be hard to find the victor. The eventual preference is for (7) TZARINA who is at least showing up in some sort of form recently and might just be good enough. (9) SPARKLING FROST and (8) LANCASTRIA have similar claims. (1) MENU MENTHOL might place.
