The LIRA system measures the complex impedance between two conductors of a Cable Under Test (CUT). A sweep of up to 20 000 frequencies is generated and applied to the CUT,

and the relative complex impedance is recorded by the LIRA Acquire within minutes.The sweep bandwidth can be adjusted to match specific cable lengths, or to increase

resolution of specific areas. The complex impedance is input to the LIRA software where atrained operator analyses the data, and produces a measurement report.

How does LIRA work?
