o11,061.44 sq. km and extending between north latitudes 26 25’ and o o o27 51’ and east longitudes 74 55’ and 76 15’ forms east-central part

of the Rajasthan State. Jaipur district is characterized by wide spectrum of landscapes including hillocks, pediments, undulating fluvial plains, Aeolian dune fields, ravines, palaeo-channels etc. Structural hills (mainly in northern and northeastern parts) trending NNE-SSW are generally composed of Delhi quartzite. Undulating plains of fluvial/ fluvial-aeolian origin forming landforms of river terraces, floodplains and buried channels of various drainage systems dominate in the district.Jaipur, the capital city is also popularly known as Pink city and is situated towards central part of the district.

You will be glad to know that the Suresh Gyan Vihar University has been duly established way back in the year 2008 by the Government of Rajasthan, vide Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur Act 2008 (Act No. 16 of 2008). The University is recognized U/S 2 (f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and has been empowered to award degrees U/S 22 of UGC Act. The University offers a wide range of programs at UG, PG and Doctoral level and enjoys a high reputation of its landmark achievements in the pursuit of academic excellence. OVERVIEW

The 5th Annual International Convention SGVU – C3W is being organized in the month of 9-11 Feb, 2018. The aim to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional, research and extension facilities in such branches of earning as it may deem fit and it shall endeavor to provide academicians and industrial pool for the necessary atmosphere and facilities for the promotion of Climate and water crisis importance and need among youth. C3W 2018 seeks to involve Academicians (Students, Researchers and Faculties), Industrial leaders and general public in Climate change and water crisis work to give exposure to this pool of public of issues which are faced by nation, and their challenges. C3W 2018 will impart awareness on social as well as developmental issues among community.

ABOUT THE CENTRE

Geoinformatics is an important technology for the management of resources. Geoinformatics is a modern discipline which integrates acquisition, modelling, analysis and management of spatially referenced data i.e. data identified according to their locations. The aim of the course is to provide in depth understanding of remote sensing, satellite image analysis, geographic information system (GIS) and GNSS technologies and their applications in various fields such as agriculture and soils, forestry & ecology, geosciences, water resources, marine & atmospheric sciences, urban & regional studies, large scale mapping etc. The centre offers Ph.D., M.Tech and M.Sc. programs in Geoinformatics.

conference. The decision of the winner will be withdrawn if the

winner/winners is/are not present at the time of announcement.

Apart from the judging time you may also be present at the
