C3 Safety is led by Daniel Fenn, who has over a decade of experience in emergency services, school safety, and corporate safety. Fenn holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, has certifications as a Firefighter/EMT and Fire Inspector, and is an authorized Instructor for CPR/First Aid/AED and OSHA General Industry.

C3 Safety offers on-site consulting services that are focused on the specific needs of each client, in an effort to improve the safety and security of our communities, campuses, and companies.

C3 Safety experts are certified in emergency management, fire, and security with first-hand experience in responding to emergency incidents, inspecting facilities, and developing procedures. Clients receive the latest and most up-to-date information to increase operational safety and reduce risks to each client’s stakeholders.Emergency Operations Planning - A vital tool for any facility to mitigate, prepare, respond, and recover from any incident by using an All-Hazards approach. C3 Safety can create plans for new and existing facilities or review and update existing plans to meet the client’s needs covering topics from Active Shooter to Natural Disasters. C3 Safety can also create practical training including lectures, tabletop exercises, and full scale drills for individual sites. Compliance Inspections - All facilities are required to comply with federal and state regulations with regards to safety. C3 Safety offers annual safety inspections that focus on ADA, NFPA/IFC, & OSHA requirements. These inspections help to identify any deficiencies or workplace hazards that may result in injuries and ensure facilities remain in compliance prior to regulatory inspections that may result in complaints and/or fines. In addition, C3 Safety conducts playground inspections that will assist in keeping playgrounds safe and in compliance with the U.S. Product Consumer Commission.

Vulnerability Assessments - Reducing external threats posed to organizations begins with a detailed look from the outside in. By utilizing CPTED principles and other security based programs, C3 Safety provides written assessments that look for natural, technological, & man-made hazards. Following the assessment, C3 Safety, in coordination with company representatives and local first responders, can train staff and test facility plans through practical exercises, identifying additional weaknesses.

Threat Assessments - The ability for educational institutions to be proactive in identifying possible security threats is paramount in reducing the risk of school violence. C3 Safety can help identify the members of your staff that will make up an effective Threat Assessment Team and train them on how to conduct threat assessments on students, staff, parents, and other external threats that may create a concern of safety within your school.
