THE POWER OF COMMUNITY

THE POWER OF COMMUNITY:  Idowu Koyenikan, an

international consultant and author, said, “There is

immense power when a group of people with similar

interests gets together to work toward the same goals.”

This is a general statement about humanity which is true.

But add in that the church is a community of people whose

interest is Jesus and who are filled with the power of the

Holy Spirit. Think of the immense power we have when

we work together toward the same goal.  Our goal at

Connect Church is that people are connected to Jesus, so

that by the power of the Holy Spirit lives are transformed

all for His glory and for an eternity.  What a joy it is to be

connected together in this way and for this purpose.  If

you are visiting with us, we would love to have you join

our community and work together for this goal!  In fact,

Pastor Brad would love to meet you and have a

conversation, so feel free to reach out to him at (641)

IN OUR FAITH FAMILYIN OUR FAITH FAMILY

Dear congregation!  We would like to expressour sincere appreciation for all the expressions

of sympathy that were shown to us followingthe death of Darlene's mom.  The prayers, cards, calls and words of support and encouragementwere overwhelming.  It is in times like this when

we can see that being a part of a church isindeed being a part of a family.  We know thatMom is now with Him after these 98 years!

To God be the glory!  With Christian love, Pete and Darlene
