CREATING A WELLNESS CENTER IN THE BUILDING OF INDOOR SWIMMING POOL AT PARKOWA 1 STREET
The Building was built between 1929 – 1932:
– The total area of the building – about 8 300 m2,
– Capacity 37 789 m3
– 6-storey building with a cellar
In the facility were working, inter alia:
swimming pool, gym, fitness, rehabilitation clinic,
sports shop, catering point and others
Modernization of the swimming pool building is
nearing end with a view to completion of work
related to the ‘swimming pool way’.

PARTNERSHIP FORMULA
For the remaining area – about 3 400 m2 of the building
is planned to attract a private partner who should fill the
remainder of the building, create a wellness center and
will maintain and manage the entire object.
The proposals of possible functions to establish
in the CWC: wellness & spa area (for example: sauna, jacuzzi, massage and treatment area, a salt grotto, solarium), sport & fitness area (for example: gym, room for physical exercises, dance, children's playroom), service area (for example: catering, retail and service area)
Currently, the pre-implementation analyzes for this
project are under preparation.

CREATING A WELLNESS CENTER (CWC) IN THE BUILDING OF INDOOR SWIMMING POOL AT PARKOWA 1 STREET
INVESTMENTS PLANNED FOR IMPLEMENTATION IN THE PUBLIC-PRIVATE
PARTNERSHIP FORMULA
THERMOMODERNIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL BUILDINGS
The project includes the thermomodernization of 21 school buildings located in Bytom,
including: primary schools, gymnasiums, high schools complex (?)
The selected private partner will perform:
- the design documentation,
- works related to thermomodernisation,
- will maintain the objects in the field of completed works for 15 years
Initial assumptions:
- the cost of investments – approx. 26,3 mln zł
- total cost - including maintenance of facilities for 15 years – approx. 46,6 mln zł
- annual savings in electricity and heat – 43,5 mln zł
- savings for the annual maintenance of district heating – 1 mln zł
- total savings – 44,5 mln zł
- the estimated cost of the municipality – approx. 2,1 mln zł

THE MODERNIZATION OF THE MUNICIPAL STADIUM
Localization: City center at Olimpijska Street
Object comprises of three plots with
a total area 14.7 ha:
Plot I – 7.6 ha
Plot II - 3.1 ha
Plot III - 4.0 ha

Plot 1 – 7.6 ha – Comprises an oval-shaped
stadium with a typical embankment construction and heated field. There are 4000 seats in the stand. The stadium is equipped with a modern 1840 lx lighting system.

THE MODERNIZATION OF THE MUNICIPAL STADIUM
Plot 2 – 3.1 ha – comprises a 100m x 55m
football pitch with artificial grass and full-
size goals surrounded with a 250m
concrete fence and two 100m x 60m gravel
covered pitches with full size goals.
Plot 3 – 4.0 ha – currently
a dumping ground for mining
waste. Access to the plot from
Piłkarska Street.

THE MODERNIZATION OF
THE MUNICIPAL STADIUM
Municipality of Bytom is looking for a private partner who will:
modernize, finance modernization works (Plot I) and will
maintain the technical efficiency of the stadium, making it
available to the municipality or entities designated by the city
implement the commercial investments on lands in the
direct vicinity of the stadium (Plot II, III).
The municipality plans to invest in:
modernization of the existing municipal
stadium in order to fulfill UEFA
requirements,
steel construction stands: the western,
southern and eastern along the roofs,
construction of social and commercial
facilities in the corners surrounding the
stadium,
construction of the main building in the
eastern part with the entire infrastructure,
creating a compact sports and spectacular
facility with a modern and diverse form
related to sport and recreation.

THE MODERNIZATION OF THE MUNICIPAL STADIUM
DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA AROUND THE RAILWAY STATION ON THE KATOWICE – PYRZOWICE ROUTE
It is planned to build a rail link that will
enable communication of International
Airport in Pyrzowice with the Silesian
Agglomeration. The line will run through the
selected municipalities of Silesia.
In Bytom will join the routes running from
the side of Gliwice and side of Katowice. It
will be built section of double track railway
line in northern direction to the airport in
Pyrzowice.

INVESTMENTS IN CITY
The new station in Bytom will be
located in the intersection area of
Siemianowicka Street and John
Paul II Avenue.
The investment includes the construction of the railway
line, along with a station, pavements and access roads.
The private partner will build parking lot and the
commercial part associated with it.
The route line is currently under design. The proposal will be implemented on condition
of building this route.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE AREA AROUND THE RAILWAY STATION ON THE KATOWICE – PYRZOWICE ROUTE
Localization – city center Area – 5 525 m2
The area has partial spatial development plan for the landing position of city buses and bus stations, and the remaining part is undeveloped, From the east is a railway station and within walking distance of the main promenade of Bytom leading from the railway station towards the Kosciuszko Square and the market,
On the north side area adjacent to the loading area of supermarket ELEA, From the west side of the area are located plots belonging to PKP S.A., The Square is located between the exit road from the bus station, DK 11 and DK 94, also is a start of the 925th regional road.

reorganization of the existing bus station to the integrated public transport.
Technical Infrastructure:
By the bus station area at Kolejowa Street
run networks:
electrical power, telecommunication, water supply, sewerage.
Along Kolejowa Street and at the intersection of ul. Kolejowa of the street Powstańców Warszawskich are:
many basic technical infrastructure networks and a network of gas pipelines

One of the possible conceptions of development for Wolski Square wheeled communication services: - city-buses, - national and private vehicle communication, - international bus lines, - minibuses, - taxi, - trams, located on both sides service buildings Under the whole of the assumtions can be designed underground parking for approx. 500 passenger cars.
Along the pedestrian pathways may arise
cycle paths with a possibility to park
bicycles on both extreme wings of the bus
terminal.
