1 Byron Environmental Consulting Capability Statement Byron Environmental Consulting offers a diverse range of environmental services and technical capabilities, priding itself always on being flexible, responsive and professional. We have extensive hands- on experience in the assessment of contaminated land including preliminary and detailed reports. Principal, Taisa Baars, has been awarded Distinctions during her 10 years of University studies of Science and Environmental Health, culminating in contracting to Byron Shire Council for environmental advice, including on sustainable development assessment, trade waste, development approvals, on-site sewerage management systems and contaminated land assessments. Byron Environmental Consulting has the resources and capability to meet the requirements of a diverse range of projects. We bring a unique combination of technical skills to meet client needs and capacity to deliver site-specific reports in a timely manner. We keep up-to-date with the relevant changes in Local, State and Commonwealth environmental legislation. We maintain membership in a number of professional institutes and societies, attend industry seminars and workshops and subscribe to all relevant academic journals.
