The setupAbout two-three weeks before Christmas we begin putting up the lights. First we put the lights on a plum tree in our yard. Then we begin putting lights around our door and sometimes windows. Then we start setting up the tree (it is a live one) first I usually help cut a bit off the base. Then we put it into the base and screw it on.

Then we put some ornaments on the tree, and finally we put up the star. Our Christmas tree always rests on this green and red blanket to keep the carpet clean.

How I found out about SantaI found about Santa when I was 7 or 8. Everyone had gone to bed except me. I went and hid behind our couch holding a toy gun and waited. I was about to go to sleep when I heard footsteps and got ready and waited……………………………………………………………………………. and peaked around the corner and saw my dad eating the milk and cookies and writing cards that said from Santa. Then I started shooting him with the toy gun and throwing pillows at him. He was mad but I said as an excuse “you lied”.The end
