Functions?

• The functions of the muscular system, are to allow the body to move it also provides strength, balance, and warmth.

• If you did not have the muscular system you would not be able to do the daily needs. As in drive your car, write, and walk. So it impacts a huge part in your daily life!

• It also helps you stay breathing, because it plays a part in the respiratory system. Basically the body has to have all systems to work, but one of the main ones I think will have to be the muscular system.

• The Muscular System interacts with many other systems. Like the respiratory system, circulatory system, skeletal system, and the digestive system.

Diseases?

• Muscular Dystrophy- causes damage to the muscle fibers.

• Cerebral Palsy- motor functions, and balance are affected.

• Polymyositis-weakness in the muscles.• Dermatomyositis-leads to muscle and skin

inflammation.

Organs?

• Lungs- the muscular system is helping the lungs, it keeps the exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen.

• Heart- the heart helps by transporting blood throughout the body, but it has to pump to do that. So the muscular system helps it out.
