Peak Seasons of Thailand
By: J. Rigdon
Peak Season is between November and
February. Peak Season makes it the most popular time
to visit Thailand because it is cool and not so dry.
Peak (Cool) Season
Off Season happens between March and June. This time is called Off Season because nobody
wants to visit Thailand when it is brutally hot and humid.
Off (Hot) Season
Shoulder Season happens between July and
October. It is the Shoulder Season because visitors do
not travel to Thailand near as much because of the weather.
Some tourists like to come to see the rain which makes Shoulder Season the second most visited time.
Shoulder (Rainy) Season
Thailand not only has a special event, but it has a
special event for every month of the year. The Chiang Mai Winter Festival is held in January. The Candle Festival is held in July. During the
Candle Festival, they fill the streets with people with beeswax candles with varying heights, some of them up to a meter tall.
During the Winter Festival, they have beauty pageants and boxing competitions.
