• This was made in 1955 and has survived heaps of years! People have celebrated weddings birthdays netball celebrations and more! So we are very glad that this hall has been here because it is apart of our history!

War Memorial ABOUT THE WAR MEMORIAL

• This is the Buckland War Memorial. When they put this up to celebrate, they decided to put a tree there to remember this day. Later on that night, a man came to see how it was all going, when he got there the tree was eaten by a goat!

• At Buckland School every Friday we do some exercise. It is called Jump Jam!

Churches around Buckland

• St Paul’s Church was opened in 1900it is an Anglican church. Every Sunday people go to talk to God. And to be happy for all the food, supplies and more .

• The Methodist Church was opened in1904.

• Buckland got their food from Drury, on pack horses because there were no roads! Things got easier when they put the rail way road in.
