Selfless Definition

-From various sources combined by Google including Wikipedia and free dictionary
Acts of Selfishness
Crime could be an example of selfishness because often it is not taking in the consideration of others and is usually centered around a persons desires and how they can fulfill them as easily as possible. We found two articles about selfishness; one about stealing gas and another about animal abuse.
Acts of Selflessness
An example of selflessness is a charity. A charity is focused on helping others or something like animals, the rainforest or needy people. The two articles that we found about selflessness are U.S. troops helping re-open the Sendai airport in Japan. Another example is the charities free rice and free kibble.
What We Learned
Selfless acts can be done to fix selfish acts. For example when a person commits arson, firefighters come to extinguish the fire
Selfless acts can also be done to fix something that no one can control. For example in article we wrote about the U.S. troops helping open the Sendai airport in Japan. The earthquake and tsunami that happened their was nobodies fault.
It is usually harder to find people trying to improve the world than trying to achieve what they want.
It can also be hard to decide if something is selfish or selfless because often it depends on perspective
