THE PROBLEM
- Dunes are covering villages- People have to move away from the
desert.- Trees stop the sand, but getting
chopped down.- Agriculture - 600 meters per year.
THE SOLUTION
- Bacillus pasteuri - Hardens sand dunes - Creates cavities- Plant trees, makes living areas- Bacteria make calcite and bond the sand
together
