As per your request, Tile Council of North America is pleased to provide you with the following summary of test results from the testing services you contracted from our Product Performance Laboratory previously issued in test report number TCNA-362-10 on material you provided and designated“AIRCORAL.”

Test results generated from performing test method ISO 27447 (Test method for antibacterial activity on semiconducting photocatalytic materials) showed that in all of the samples tested, there was no survival of bacteria after eight hours in either UV-irradiated or dark test conditions.Ref.: Report number TCNA-362-10, October 21, 2010.

Based on test results using test method UNI 11259 (Determination of photocatalytic activity of hydraulic binders, Rhodamine B method), the samples tested showed evidence of the ability to degrade organic pollutants. Ref.: Report number TCNA-362-10, November 18, 2010.

In closed chamber studies, n-hexane was degraded from an initial concentration by 17.4 ppm in the presence of a test sample versus only 7.6 ppm concentration decrease for a generic wall tile.Ref.: Report number TCNA-362-10, January 18, 2011.

Dodici “lucidipinte” si installano nel FAHB il nuovo grande albergo dell’Arte Contemporanea a Milano.Di prof. Andrea B. Del Guercio, titolare della Cattedra di Storia dell’Arte Contemporanea, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera.

Pittura e scultura, nelle varie correnti artistiche caratterizzanti la storia dell’arte, dagli albori alla produzione in serie, sono sempre state in relazione con lo studio degli Interni, producendo un inestimabile patrimonio di opere che si fondono per creare un tutt’uno con lo spazio.

Da questo l’intuizione Buzzi & Buzzi di produrre dodici “lucidipinte”, scelte tra oltre quaranta progetti iconografici, interpretate dagli artisti dell’Accademia di Brera, che sono ora esposte nell’Albergo FAHB. L’incipit di tale operazione creativa è la decisione di fondere il carattere espressivo dell’artista con la superficie neutra e la forma pura della linea “FRAME” e, più intimamente, con i suoi valori simbolici e strutturali. La Luce nell’Arte ha sempre avuto un’importanza fondamentale, dalla ricerca scultorea del “Bello Ideale” Classico, all’idea degli Impressionisti di catturare l’attimo di luce che scorre e sfiora la materia. Nasce l’importanza del rapporto tra luce e materia e nel caso del concorso “Light-Parade” di Buzzi & Buzzi luce-energia che nasce dalla materia. La luce ha una collocazione interna, creando una comunicazione con le decorazioni della cornice e generando così un’opera d’arte “illuminata” da collocare nello spazio abitativo.

Twelve “painted lights” are being installed at the FAHB, the new grand Hotel for Contemporary Art in Milan.By Prof. Andrea B. Del Guercio, chairholder of History of Contemporary Art at the Brera Accademy of Fine Arts (Milan).

Painting and sculpture, in the different art trends caracterizing art history, from dawn to the series production, have always been in relationship with the study of Indoors, producing an invaluable heritage of works that melt to create an all-in-one with the space.

From this the intuition of Buzzi & Buzzi to produce twelve “painted lights”, chosen between more than forty iconographic projects interpretated from the artists of the Brera Accademy, which are now exposed in the FAHB Hotel. The incipit for this creative operation is the decision to merge the expressive character of the artist with the neutral surface and the pure shape of the “FRAME” line, more intimate, with its symbolic and structural values. In art, Light has always been of fundamental importance, from the sculptural research of the classic “Ideal Beauty” to the idea of the Impressionists to capture the moment of light which flows and skims the materia. Coral® Einbaustrahler.Die TELESCOPIC-Serie ist aus Coral® und für Kaltlichtspiegellampen 12 Volt mit Ø 50 mm dichroischem reflektor. Das verchromte Gehäuse besteht aus einem festen Teil und einem teleskopischen beweglichen Teil, welcher das Leuchtmittel beherbergt und eine leichte Auswechslung der Lampen ermöglicht. Die Lampe kann außerhalb der Leuchte untergebracht sein oder vollständig im seinem Innern, je nach dem gewünschten Effekt, den man erzielen will. Die Anschlußklemmen sitzen in einem dafür vorgesehenen, isolierten Kasten.
