The subject matter of the show influenced the implementation of the reflective tape on these posters. The art show contains materials that are sourced from the cityscape. The materials of the posters literally and figuratively reflect the subject matter of the show itself.

But a Dream was an art exhibition showcasing the work of Wen Ben, This identity was created to compliment Wen Ben’s surrealist works of art. The poster itself created by dismantling a photograph of the sky, and utilizing custom typographic elements.

The Faculty Lecture Series was branded during my work for the Visiting Artist program at RMCAD. These were used to promote the various faculty members who had short lectures about their own art practices.

In 2017, I co-founded a club on the RMCAD campus. This club was focusing on creating self-published magazines. I took on the task of designing a logo and creating promotional posters to hang around campus and recruit new members.

REFLECTExperience Design

This project was asigned to created graphic signage for RMCAD’s EPIC building. This building mainly houses all of the graphic design classes on campus. This piece was created with all custom letters designed by me. The letters were vinyl cut and adheared to plexiglass that was then layered at varying heights to create a subtle 3-D effect.

This project created with the intention of challenging the traditional website layout. Distrupting the way that users expect tointeract with a website can either beinteresting or cause a dismissive response.The importance of the site was to enhance a beautiful experience so that the user would be more inclined to look through the content.

This is a dumb app that chooses a name for your dumb app. The plus sign adds the selected name to a list of names.

In a world like the tech industry, start-up culture seems like a place where entire identities are a reflection of every other person that came before. Things like names seem pulled from thin air with random letters removed to feel more trendy. This app helps to streamline the name choosing process. Here you can develop an entire identity from a random name, it’s so easy!

Dissonance DisplayTypeface

Dissonance is a bold serif typeface inspired by the letterform interactions in Caslon.

LoveTypeface

Love is an all caps serif typeface created with the intention of mimicking stone cut type from things such as gravestones.

DistressTypeface

This was created with the intention of abstracting modular numbers. I wanted to create a numbering system that challenged the viewer to think about numbers in a way that felt like it had ties to something familiar, but the connection was unclear.
