Voice Port Switched - Overview

Single Stage– users dial a 3-4 digit access number followed immediately by the On-Net

– or Off-net number desired.

– The entire cost of the call is included in the VP Switched Rate

– Currently only available in Hong Kong, Ireland and the UK

Dual Stage (Caller Pays)– users first dial a 7-8 digit local access number, then at the network prompt

dial the On-net or Off-net number desired.

– The user pays the local access provider for the cost of the local call plusthe Voice Port distributor for termination of the call over the Voice Port Network.
