Glonet also offer highest quality Optical Bare Fiber by using advancedtechnologies, Modified Chemical Vapour Deposition (MCVD) and Vapor-phase Axial Deposition (VAD) method. Our supplier is able to produce high quality optical fiber with excellent performance and strength, which is achieved through the fine refractive index profile and strict control of geometrical properties. The first class fiber testing equipment and methodology assure the highest technical specifications of produced fiber, which far exceeds the international standards of both ITU-T G652 and ITU-T G651.Fibre manufactured is suitable for telecommunications purposes, ideally for long distance trunk network. Both MCVD and VAD standard single mode optical fibers with step index and matched clad core profile can be manufactured. Glonet optical fibers are coated with Ultraviolet (UV) accrylate coating to provide superior protection of the glass fiber whileallowing excellent stripping performance. It is optimized to use in 1310 nm wavelength region, however it can also be used effectively in1550nm wavelength region.

Joint venture with one local company’s in manufacturing fiber optics and copper frames, wall mount, cabinets, distributions panel, fiber termination box, fiber distribution block, rectifier, power distribution panel and many more. When using multimode 62.5/125µm optical fiber for transmitting Gigabit data over distances greater than 300 meters, a Mode Conditioning Patchcord must be used at each transmitter/receiver. This is because when a single mode laser is launched into the centre of a multimode fiber it may cause differential mode delay (DMD) effects that generate multiple signals. The Mode Conditioning Patchcord overcomes this problem by launching the laser light from the transmitter into a single mode fiber which is aligned with a precise offset from the centre of the core of a 62.5/125µm fiber in the "mode conditioning" part of the patchcord. The output from the patch cord is then compliant with the IEEE 802.3z standard for 1000Base-LX.

Mode Conditioning Patch Cords are not recommended for short transmission distances - a few tens of meters - as bit errors may occur/increase.

Convention dictates that the Mode Conditioning Patch Cord is identified each end as "To Equipment" and "To Cable Plant". The equipment end is typical of products offered by companies such as CISCO, and the cable plant is the connection made at a patch panel to the main fiber optic cable run.

Mode Conditioning Patch Cords are between 2 meters and 5 meters in length. It is not practical to have these patchcords in lengths outside these limits. Tech Optics offers a range of Mode Conditioning Patch Cords as follows:
