Älvsbytalo Brought Permanent Employment to Kauhajoki

Älvsbytalo established itself in Kauhajoki in 2005. A great number of Finnish municipalities competed for the company’s

establishment in their areas. The work done was a successful investment because the plant has given permanent emp-

loyment to some 90 people. With dozens of subcontractors, the company has been an important employer in the entire

region for seven years.

Also Plant Manager Jan-Erik Rusk regards establishment in Kauhajoki as a success story.

Lagerwey Finland Oy: Dutch-Finnish Wind Power from Kauhajoki to Conquer Finland Kaskisten tuulivoima Ltd, a company established by Jaakko Leppinen, was based in the Logistia Technology Center in

November 2012. Cooperation with the Dutch turbine manufacturer Lagerway, one of the international pioneers in the

wind power sector, also brought Lagerway Finland to Kauhajoki.The operations of Lagerwey Finland consist of the development and implementation of wind parks as well as the sale

and maintenance of wind turbines. Moreover, the aim is to start the production of turbines.– We are looking forward to the Finnish market. We believe that our unique technology and cost-effective tower solution

suit well here, where high quality, reliability and excellent profits are expected from wind parks, says Aart van de Pol,

the owner and manager of Lagerwey Ltd.

– a Joint Company with Its Roots in the Café of the Technology Center

Suit Networks Ltd is a company focused on logistics and transportation services, operating in the Logistia Technology

Center, Kauhajoki. Suit Networks encompasses companies specialized in logistics, software technology, and mobile

equipment. Entrepreneurs and a professor in Logistic Systems with an office in the building found each other and a busi-

ness idea during the popular coffee break in the café of the Technology Center.

At the moment, the joint company is developing a national-level logistics concept for carcass disposal. Whenever ne-

cessary, Suit Networks Ltd builds new partnerships and makes cooperation agreements with different actors.
